First season at Chlsea they were very good to watch.

I would also add, they were awesome in his first season back, it wasn't until we smashed them 5-2 that Jose decided to shut up shop. Honestly I think that result broke him despite them winning the league

De Gea regularly leads the save stats alongside likes of fabianski and foster. That's proof if needed that United are not that great defensively as a unit. Yes, he's a great keeper, but they ask so much more of him than other big teams.

  • In competitive games since the start of the 2018 World Cup, David de Gea has conceded 10 goals from the past 14 shots on target he has faced.
2018 has been a weird anomaly for De Gea, he hasn't made mistakes and failed to stop shots this frequently since his first season in England.

You'd think that with a Real move now off the table he would be even more settled and even better but that doesn't seem the case.

MNF.

Palace v Liverpool

Looking forward to this one and hoping, of course, that Palace can do the business against the entitled ones.

Palace are 13/2 to win tonight. Thats a pretty big price for a home team.

Was the last time the scousers played a night game the time they threw away the league after leading 3 nil?

Thats got to be on the minds of those involved tonight. Might give Palace a boost.....although I suspect not many players are still at either club from that night.

Liverpool have won at Palace three straight seasons. 2-1, 4-2 and 2-1, plus another 2-1 in the cup the season before that.

It might be the first MNF game they've played since the 3-3, but pretty much every player and staff member currently at Liverpool has more good memories from Selhurst Park than bad.

I think when you say "Regularly", you mean "never"

2017/18 - 5th in saves
2016/17 - 14th in saves
2015/16 - 9th in saves
2014/15 - 8th in saves
2013/14 - 12th in saves
2012/13 - 12th in saves
2011/12 - 9th in saves

For the goalie of the team in second place to make the 5th most saves is pretty much unheard of, but I'm surprised he wasn't higher on those lists in previous seasons.
