After all the grief Kane gets for 'winning' his penalties I wonder if Liverpool fans will show the same level of scepticism over Salah there?

Answer - of course fucking not

Don't see a problem with that penalty, Salah made the absolute most of it but it's a poor bit of defending to overcommit and get turned like that and then he's just hacking away desperately and does clip his feet.

We'd be fuming if that was Kane or Alli and the penalty wasn't given for us. Salah helps along but he does get hooked.
Seen Dele get as much contact as that at least half a dozen times with no reward. Soft

That's the advantage of having quick feet to do an Ali shuffle when the slower defender will catch your feet instead of the ball.

Really don't think this Liverpool side are great. We should be looking to finish above them as usual.

It's hard to tell in this moment in time, considering how early in the season it is but I don't think they've been very good tonight, which is maybe encouraging. They look like how they used to whenever Coutinho was out for them, missing a good link between midfield and the three attackers.

Whether it's a pen or not, the most annoying thing is to commentators there is no doubt it's a pen, because King Salah fell over, and King Salah would never go down too easily.

Fucking shite reffing though, Milner can go through the man to win the ball out of control and that's fine, VaH wins the ball from front on but the trailing leg takes the player down and that's a yellow ....

Same shit different season.

Yeah he is absolute dog shit but you know what, Palace deserve the lack of fortune they get through him just for not deciding to replace him for so long.
They have bench options, Jordan Ayew and Alex Sørloth. Roy said in an interview post-Fulham that he picked Benteke because "he's had a good pre-season and has a bigger reputation in the dressing room", which sums up where he went wrong with England.

Palace players get done for doing exactly what the Liverpool players do.

But Alan Smith thinks Liverpool have 'a physical strength' which presumably makes their tackles ok ?

No, they are not great but they are pretty f*cking dangerous. And when you have players that lose concentration in the MF like we do you get punished. They have a 'Fekir-sized' hole in their creativity.

Big Nose Phil Thompson is on Norwegian TV tonight saying it was very harsh on Sakho. Never thought I'd see the day where he went against Liverpool.

It's the inconsistency that is infuriating and I'm not talking about Oliver. That linesman watches Milner go right through the back of Zaha and doesn't flag - then flags again Van Aanholt who got more of the ball than Milner ever did. Both freekicks for mine. Or, if you let them go, let both go. But you can't flag for one and not the other.

He probably thinks Sahko still plays for Liverpool.
