Salah is the highest player when Pool are out of possession. See, Mane just received the ball from Salah who was highest again. Salah typically has little or o defensive responsibility. Klopp has spoken on it.

That's Football Manager set pieces 101

That’s the last thing I wanted to see.

Seriously, that hairline is atrocious.

Watching him score is also fucking annoying.

It’s quite something. Like the comb-overs strange back combed-cousin. From the Don King school of haircuts that.

Sadly they looked very good up front. High tempo, quick passing, interchanging and movement and bursting forward.

all palace need is a decent striker. they're solid throughout, dangerous and always create chances, especially at home. just a shame they've got a useless heffalump up front.

oh, and fuck Liverpool.

i thought they were pretty poor up front, really just relied on salah's ability to run really fast.

Liverpool got very lucky tonight. Wankers

Only watched the 2nd half but looked to me like they controlled that quite comfortably.
Palace just have a habit of sitting back and letting teams just fire crosses at will into their box. Got caught so many times by Liverpool's fast counters

Dare I say it, they didn’t control that game very well at all given the circumstances.

Soon as Palace are down to ten they don’t touch the ball again against us.

oh, and fuck Liverpool.

Complete lack of a centre midfield hurts them too

They've played Palace and West Ham, they should always be beating these.

A soft start for Liverpool, similar to ours

Yeah Liverpool weren’t lucky imo. They weren’t scintillating either, just a professional away performance at a tough ground.

Kept Zaha very quiet and although I hate to admit it, Van Dyke was good. Pretty much unbeatable in the air. Can’t really argue he has improved them defensively.

They probably say the same about our often slow and tedious build up and lack of product in the final 3rd.

I hated Liverpool since the 80s, reinforced by apples with razor blades coming in the away end in the 'Titanic' win at Anfield but I do quite enjoy watching their style of play now - I do feel dirty though

I was in the middle of The Kop that day. And for the next win as well.
