Just to prove how wrong Mourinho is in his team selection..

Now I can only hope their divide is even greater.

Unfortunately this may well ignite their season. That doesnt look like a team who are not playing for their manager in my view... Martial and Sanchez both scored which is ironic given the media about them in recent weeks

The barcodes are so shit under Mike Ashley. They should just go back to championship where they belong.

Glad we didn't keep Yedlin. The more I see him, the more glad I was at our club decision.

But its the subs that saved them yet again tonight. And Mourinho continue to play them as subs.

Regardless of how shit United have been under Mourinho, they've often been dangerous if they manage to get that one goal back.

They're playing 4/5 up top due to chasing the game. They can't do that any other time and it's why this result will not be a turning point for them. José is still making tactically bizarre decisions

The result just shows how self-defeating Mourinho's over-cautiousness has been for them. Finally he takes the shackles off and it shows that they can be really good. Meaning those same players have been limited by his tactics. He can't help himself though, they'll go back to being overly defensive and tying the hands of their better players.

Did Paddy twice

I had another bet on the draw again too, but didn't cash it out at £4.30 before they scored

Thing is there's no consistency. Martial and Sanchez will probably actually start the next game for them now but will also probably both be shit again. In fact, Martial was still pretty poor today and Sanchez won't suddenly start playing like how people thought he would when he initially signed.

TBF, those players at the disposal are world class. Martial, Sanchez, even Pogba at his best, I believe they do want to play the best they can regardless of circumstances.

Do you think? Newcastle still had chances but they don't have the quality to capitalize. Against a more functional and higher quality squad ManU would have been punished today IMO.

Enough badness for one day.

Needing Fulham to do something against Woolwich, ditto Soton v Chelsea and a draw between
Pool and City is far too much to hope for. Ah well.

That's the point. As long as the subs are giving manure some lifelines comes the games, Mourinho will always be under pressure of why his team selections are ineffective right from the start. And that is the best script we could have hoped for viewing this entire comedy.
