Agreed. But one thing that does give me pause is who would they go for? As if the atmosphere there isnt toxic enough, bringing Big Sam or Moyes back at this stage would really set it off. At this point, I think they are probably better off giving Siva 3 or 4 more games. If he doesn't turn it around and you get dragged into the relegation battle, then you make the change. But its still early and making a panic move now could backfire tremendously

IMO, Silva's issue is he is not pragmatic enough. He doesnt have a true focal point on top and there is not enough goals in the AM, even with Siggy and Richarlison. Couple that with Everton's defense being so poor and this is what you get. Silva would be much better off atm if he set them up to hit on the counter attack.
They've had too many ingoings in a short space of time. They need a settled period so should give Silva a little longer. But yeah they need to see some signs. It's a bit similar to our first season under Poch albeit not as bad. First season you figure out who you can't rely on, get them out the door and then go from there.

Having said that they really do lool like a soft touch and he doesn't seem to be changing anything. They won't go down so I think they should see how the run in goes. If there's signs then they should stick, if not then they'll need to replace. But they cant keep going thru managers.

Bale scored his 100th goal for Madrid today. What a player he is.

Bizarrely underrated in Spain by the sounds of things. If he still played in England he’d win player of the season every year. Mind you, then he wouldn’t have the 4 Champions League winner’s medals!

They should get the guy who just left Huddersfield. He’s a good manager.

Shocking from the ref there to all but put this to bed for Burnley. Should be 2-1 and game on but instead it's 3-0. Clearly a hand ball in the box with the ref right there.

How does neither ref or line see that Hendrick scoops the ball with his arm? Absolute mare.

1-3. Come on Brighton.

To say Brighton haven't had the rub today, is an understatement. The officials have had a fucking disaster.
What went missing was the open goal miss from Wood....wow!

It’s almost as if the officials are under orders to make increased bad decisions to get us all begging for VAR, which is actually the most sure fire way of fixing results.

Can't stand it when commentators pronounce names like Pogbaaaaaa and Salaaaaaah
The one that gets up my nose, and I can't remember which commentator is was, pronouncing Jahaanbakhsh with a y-sound at the beginning, as if he were Eastern European (or other nationality that pronounces J's as Y's).

Although maybe it irks more because I'm from Iranian stock myself... :cautious:

Ranieri will be gone before the end of the season
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Ranieri simply isn't that good a manager. Lovely chap, by all accounts, but just not that good and not suited to fixing a club that's in the state that Fulham are in.

We may bemoan his brand of football, but Fulham would have done far better to have gone for Allardyce. They needed someone who could sort out a defence and there are few who can do that better than Fat Sam (again, not praising his brand of football, simply that he has abilities in that particular area) .

I think even if they do sack Ranieri before the end of the season, it could well be too little too late. A seven point is a massive gap when you're in the basement.

P.S. Fulham are also an excellent example of how spending willy-nilly doesn't guarantee success...

It's going to be a real back and forth relegation scrap between Saints, Burnley, Cardiff, Newcastle, Palace and Brighton, isnt it? Cant help but think Dyche might have fucked it sticking with Hart for so long after Heaton returned. Fulham and Huddersfield are pretty much down already. There is just no fight in them and no signs of a Sunderland style great escape.
My jaw was on the floor when I'd heard that Burnley had signed Hart, especially with Nick Pope as backup (even if Pope was injured at the time). That any Premier League team would go anywhere near Hart beggars belief.
