Drawing to Everton cost us £1.9m.

Bet Daniel's happy.
After the effort put in and injuries sustained against Ajax I don't think even he could be disappointed for only drawing with Everton. Getting to the final does far more for us than getting 3rd in the league.

With this and the CL money that gives us about 230m so really no excuses for Daniel to give to Poch for not strengthening this summer. The figures out there suggest that the annual loan and interest payments for the new stadium will run about £65m so that shouldn’t be a stumbling block to player acquisitions especially given increase match day revenues .

Well, theres also the small problem of Wembley rent for 19 games and MK rent for 1

How many times have we read that the stadium and transfers are 2 separate ring fences pots so your point (should!) be mute. Apparently we had cash last 2 windows but not the right players.
Now we have even more cash (a shot tonne more!) And need even more players so I think we will be fairly busy this summer. I see 6 incomings.

I think this article is just talking about TV money. Not prize money for league positions. It could be included and I could be wrong though. That’s the way I read the article though.

Edit:Having reread it I see the table at the bottom and it does have a column for merit payments which I assume is prize money for league position. So you are correct there was a £1.9 million difference between 3rd and 4th. Sorry.
