Cheer up, there are none faster than Walker, Lennon or Townsend, Lamela and Eriksen are very creative and as for strikers...........

There's only 6 home grown players on the premier league list; it's there supposed to be 8?

From how it's been explained to me, there's a foreign-grown quota. So everyone who's not homegrown basically, and the max for that is 17. So the list works.

EDIT: I think the reason everyone says 8 is because for a squad of 25, you'd be able to have no fewer than 25-17=8 homegrown players. If you have fewer than 25 (which is the case here as there are 23), you can still have 17 foreign and that yields 23-17=6 homegrown.

I actually don't see lack of pace in the squad, but your point about lacking strikers just might come back to bite us in the backside.

We have 3 strikers which is enough if you play 1 up top. Alrite they may not be setting the world alight right now but give them and Poch time to work on it and they will come good. Just need to learn the movement into space to receive the through balls. All 3 are excellent finishers IMO.

Liverpoo's Moreno may disagree with that statement, considering he left Townsend for dead over 50 yards, even though he was running with the ball at his feet.
