They'd be idiots to let him go to be honest. I know money talks but he's come on a lot this year and looks a real solid prospect. Moyes does well in getting his youngsters working hard. GDS could take a bit of notice.

Established first teamer for them now so with a pay rise, it's still beneficial to both parties.

Everton seem to let a lot of players get close to contract expiry. They lost Gosling to Newc, Pienaar obviously and while they've now tied down Coleman & Anichebe, they were 6 months from a free.
Levy wouldn't stand for that!

I agree, seems a little daft.

Perhaps there's some financial reasoning behind it. They seem to be pretty tight with the purse strings up there.

Although Gosling was a bit of an admin balls up wasn't it?

Coleman and Anichebe signed new deals today. Danny Murphy's is imminent too.

Can't believe players so crucial to their clubs are left without deals so late. If the Campbell debacle had one good effect it was that we now don't find ourselves in the position Everton are this window. Kenwright might be popular with fans but it's no wonder the club have no cash when they don't have the foresight to tie players like Pienaar to longer deals and lose them for pennies. If Coleman had been tapped up or less morals then they could have waved goodbye to a player who could easily turn into a 15-20m player.

Other than that, it's actually a pretty poor bunch by Tottenham's standards. If I were a manager of a side in the bottom half I'd have a goosey at Michael Kightly as there's potential there, and obviously Elmander, but otherwise pretty mediocre.

Elmander has been good this season but you wander if he's just doing it for a big contract and when he gets it goes back to what he was the previous seasons

Anyone know why Thiago Alcantara is on the list?! He's the next big thing at Barcelona, I mean I know with or without a long term contract he's unlikely to leave but still, pretty silly from Barca.

I'd love us to sign Del Piero, just because I love him. Pirlo's got six months left on his contract as well and Mexes wouldn't be a disaster, apart from that I don't see a lot there.

I respectfully disagree.

Selling Kranjcar for £7m and getting Rakitic in on a Bosman would be a genius piece of business.
