Thats good. Didn't like the idea of him going to Watford. Feels like he's an Orphan getting passed off from his new parents

This surely has to be a case of fulfilling some sort of national quota for PSG because if you want Stambouli as a replacement for someone like Cabaye, then boy you have problems.

Runs like he's got a parachute strapped to his back. He certainly won't be missed.

The homegrown aspect will certainly help, but he was very highly rated before we got our hands on him. Makes sense as a low cost purchase with potential.

DL will be rubbing his hands now lol .....he'll be trying to make money on him now or wanting some deal with one of their players.

As for stambouli I thought he was a decent player who could do a job but wouldn't be missed if sold.
He was good at tackling and pretty quick feet for someone that plays that DM role ....however is downside was he couldn't seem to get around the pitch that quick and sometimes seemed alittle lost in the quicker paced games.

Am I the only one that thinks this guy has potential , he had some very good feet and if it weren't for his red at palace that day he would have remained in the side for a while me thinks.

Will be interesting to see if we try and use Stambouli as part of a deal for Rabiot now that PSG have shown interest

Someone smelt a rat yesterday in Watford deal in doubt thread.
Forget who it was but take a bow Sir.

Watford are the front runners with PSG desperately trying to play catch up to them

I remember when Watford were a class act. I think PSG may have been a pimple on the far side of Pluto. Reminds me to try to be philosophical when it comes to success and failure at Spurs!

Like Paulhino and Capoue - Stambouli can also be a class player - you don't win the French league without quality. Their problem at Spurs, was that they were all too similar and yet none fitted MoPo's system.
I'd reckong 2 out of 3 of the above will become very good players for their respective new clubs this season and good luck to them.
I simply hope MoPo gets to buy and work with the players he wants so we can truly evaluate HIM.
