Paris St-Germain need to sell 60m euros (£52.9m) worth of players by the end of June, to comply with financial fair play (FFP) rules.

They were cleared of breaching FFP rules, but the French club's transfer dealings from last summer onwards will remain "under close scrutiny".

Uefa opened an investigation into PSG's spending in September ...

I assume even if they don't comply, they'll just get fined so prolly doesn't mean much.

I'd make an offer for Goncalo Guedes.

He was sensational at times on loan at Valencia last season, and we're clearly in the market for a pacy AM.

Since PSG have to sell, he's a good alternative to Martial, Zaha or Pulisic, and is likely to be "gettable" given how stacked PSG are in wide attacking positions with Neymar, Mbappe, Draxler and Di Maria.

Rabiot would be fine too, though... ;)

Not so sure this time. Weren't they fined a hefty £50 million four years ago.

I think the general consensus this time if they fall foul of FFP, is a transfer embargo or suspension from European competition for a period of time.

1) Sell Neymar for 200M.
2) Buy 140M worth of players.
3) Lose in Champions League QF

Would much prefer Lo Celco as he can play AM and CM and I rate as a better prospect. I really have my doubts about Guedes, never impressed me that much when I watched Valencia.

Imo we got a good relationship with PSG buying players from them and if the right player i.e. Rabiot/Verrati becomes available, I think we got a fair chance

PSG won't sell Lo Celso.

Guedes has much better end product than Gelson Martins, and it looks like he will be sold. But his agent is Mendes, and allegedly he wants to move to Spain.

Finally, back to Liverpool, whose rumoured pursuit of the PSG forward Gonçalo Guedes looks doomed to failure. Wolves, Internazionale and Napoli face similar disappointment, as the Portuguese player has apparently indicated that he prefers a move to Spain.

Verrati would be a dream.

And I'm sure it'll stay just that.

That’s who I’d take if I could pick. I can’t believe he’s still only 25. Lovely combination of talent, technique, tenacity and dynamism. Just what we need.
