If the players had showed more energy and tried to kill the game off (when we were absolutely dominating the game) instead of passing the ball sideways we could have won that easily. I bet poch is furious.
This. Leading by a goal and the lads are playing for time.

They can hang their heads in shame

I blame this most on the players, they have a weak mentality and I’ve been saying this for far too long. I honestly can’t take it no more, I’m tired not trying to be funny
How many times will this team let me down? I can’t take it anymore

I just want to scream and destroy everything in front of me but I’m too tired to do that
Thank you Tottenham thank you

And if you defend Davies & Trippier then I can’t help you. Both average

What an absolute embarrassment! I’m sorry but you could not defend these sets of results except maybe the game against Barca. I really do hope we finish bottom and avoid Europa because we will just embarrass ourselves further in that! It is truly in DNA that we are fucking legends

I’m sure he is. But he needs to sort the defensive issues out. How many set pieces have we fucked up this season? Where’s our solidity gone?

Gentle reminder that Spurs are going to announce a further 2-game delay for the stadium tomorrow of which we pay the highest ticket prices in the world

You ain’t got a clue mate.

Been involed in many £1b projects have you ? The stadium got nothing to do with this.

Don’t pay the prices twaticus if you don’t like them - I for one won’t give a shit

I don't think we had a bad group barring Barcelona the rest were and are beatable but we have been shit

Agree with that. Liverpool, City, Arsenal or Chelsea would have put 4 or 5 past that PSV team. We got away with it against West Ham but were punished against a very very poor Champions League team. Its not good enough at the moment. We seem so fragile at the moment. It simply is not good enough ?

It was a really good performance overall as well. Two fucking joke moments from the most experienced players and one from the ref and this is what we get

This is such a weird season. We really could have pushed on and achieved something special, so disappointing.

I think it’s unravelling in the summer. Eriksen worryingly close to ‘ time to sell’ time and Harry hasn’t been the same since return from injury.

Inter are crap. The fact we were cruising until bottling it and capitulating at the end shows how average they are
Yes I know that's all the more annoying that we have been shocking we deserve and are going out I have no complaints with that.

This is what happens when you can't kill a game off. I know lamela has to be managed but I feel with him on from the start then we take this game no problem.

This one hurts

I dont blame Lloris for this. We should have been four or five up before the incident. Eriksen fucked up by giving that shitty ball away. Our defending is suicidal at times. All this tippy tappy shit is a recipe for disaster, do it when you have a two goal buffer not one goal in a must win game.
That tippy tappy shit that led directly to our delightful goal?

It's fundamental to the way we play and has brought us much success. It's the mentality that really needs sorting out.

It's the way we've been scored against too. Fucking absolutely worldies against Inter and Barca. And tonight - a deflected looper that wrongfoots Lloris and a scuffed shot that falls straight to De Jong. We cannot buy any luck - and copped some horrendous officiating.

But this team keeps bouncing back. They'll need too given who we face on Monday.
