Looking on the bright side, at least we’ve maintained our record of scoring in every game (all comps) this season. :cautious:

Chumps League truly crystallising how we've stagnated. Oh well. Plenty of other things for us to focus on. Shame that by the time this team is up to speed we'll be well out of European football this season.

Whenever we had a bad result, Poch words saying we were brave we had to be brave always stuck on me.

I always wondered did he really say those words to the lads. As far as their performance showed, they clearly were just cowards this season.

The lack of big game mentality does for us again.

This inability to see out the last ten minutes or so is a worrying problem.

Neither do I, it's simple isn't it? Stop forking the cash out.
Yep.

But equally I think it's shameful that the club charge the premium prices they do for the less-than-premium product they put out. Obviously, the laws of supply and demand mean that they can get away with overcharging the fans and getting away with it, but just because our fans will overpay for their tickets, I don't let the club off for exploiting them.

There's a lot to like about Tottenham Hotspur in 2018, but even in an industry where nearly all football clubs are excessively avaricious, we are unusually greedy rip-off merchants with regards to our loyal fanbase.

I hope the press destroys them after this. They deserve it. It's PSV not fucking PSG. Poch and the players need to address their propensity to bottle big matches head on. Too often I feel they bury their head in the sand and pretend it's not a problem. It is and it's a gigantic one.

Europa League is looking like the best chance we have to quality for CL next season, unfortunately.
We probably wont qualify either way. We blew the chance to keep up as we werent even trying this summer. We are far too mentally weak to win the Europa, I'm afraid. So the best chance is top 4 and that is unlikely.

Davies and Trippier have been absolute trash this season. Only Davies has had a half way decent game thus far(which was Saturday). I'm beyond tired of seeing Trippier anywhere near this team. But he has the #1 RB spot locked down. Poch's start at zero bs was just that, bs.
At least trips can create Davies is pony at both ends of the pitch.

Set pieces again, for me. Doesn't get enough write up or scrutiny.

Witness two examples, a minute apart. The first one for PSV, knocked into the box, the second ball drops edge of the box to one of their players who has no one anywhere near him. Hits it towards goal, helped in.

Then we have one straightaway after the play resumes, almost identical. Ball knocked in, half dealt with, ball drops edge of the area towards Eriksen....... However PSV have two players around him to pick up the second ball and clear their lines.

Yeah we were down to 10 men, but so what. Just don't leave anyone up. No excuse.

What annoys me is that we just don't seem to learn or see any progress. Indeed we have even been here before with this type of goal..... I remember Hazard scoring a goal in an FA Cup semi final against us from the same scenario, and people on here telling me "oh you cant expect to deal with that", well I think you can, and we see history repeat itself tonight.

Poch has had over four years now and we still look all over the place from them. Unacceptable really, and the sort of fine marginal gain that can sort you out, on big occasions.

I honestly can’t take it no more, I’m tired not trying to be funny
How many times will this team let me down? I can’t take it anymore

I just want to scream and destroy everything in front of me but I’m too tired to do that
Thank you Tottenham thank you

Can someone pop round and see if he's alright?

What a chuffing annoying game that was. That is all our fault. Not enough aggression to get the two goal lead when on top, then dreadful lapses in concentration. Not good enough at this level
