So back to pubs.

Any decent options around there? If you wanted to avoid the major queue's for underground back into the centre would pubs around there bother staying open till 11ish?

Just park in Harrow On the Hill, it's on the main rail line into Marylebone. Two stops to Wembley Park on the met line. The torch pub is the home pub just outside the station.
Is Harrow on the hill an area in London. Or the name of a car park ? Thanks

Park in ikea

Park in baker street then train it

Park in tesco near wembley

Or

Pay me 200 pounds and you can park in my drive.

Don't park at the nearby Tesco, they have recently introduced camera controlled parking and time limits to stop people using it as Wembley stadium parking.

Also for anyone driving don't park on the streets anywhere nearby as it is all controlled parking on event days and the wardens are everywhere. There is loads of parking on the industrial estate next to Wembley for anywhere from £5 to £15 in private business car parks.

Didnt know that.

Harrow on the hill is ok, shopping centre is cheap as chips. I tend to cab it from where i live, a tenner each way could be 15 this time,

They only introduced it recently, I'm good as I live about 15-20 minutes walk away so perfect for me :)

I'm gonna travel to Wembley area from Cheltenham game day, if I can't get a ticket, I'll be in one of these pubs.

How close are these pubs to the stadium? Coming from the south so haven't a clue of the local area!

Just to warn you - the pubs near Wembley are normally banned from actually showing games being held there to discourage people from travelling without a ticket and over-congesting the area. Not sure if this applies for the UCL games but I'd assume it does and it'd definitely be worth phoning ahead and asking.

Not sure whether to drive (from Stevenage) down to Stanmore and then get on the tube or try and go all the way by train and find a pub somewhere nearby. Think we went to (actually went to the shop up the road and then sat outside with cans of Holsten Pils) The Torch for the League Cup final v Chelsea.

Decisions decisions!

Travelling from Shropshire
I was trying to work out if you could pick up a Midland Mainline train that stops at Wembley Central but it seems it's all Southern Railways that are stoppers, they're not exactly reliable at the moment, what I've done is wasted our time, apologies.

Just got back from today's game! What a performance! Fans were epic today! Heading down from the West Midlands next Wednesday. Can anyone help us out and recommend a good place to park near Wembley? Cheers
Mainline trains are stopping at Wembley Central on Wednesday, where in the WM are you travelling from?
No they aren't...
London Midland confirmed no additional stops at Wembley Central on Wednesday evening.
I've got to get London Overground service from Watford Junction

Harrow is just a town near Wembley, connected directly by tube, about 5-6 minute trip. There's a few car parks, a few pubs next to car parks and one of the pubs is called the Harrow which unless it's changed hands has a spurs landlady

The midland service runs fast to Euston and dosnt stop except at Harrow Wealdstone and Watford. The normal slow overground runs to Wembley Central from Watford junction

I'm aware of that, but when there is a stadium event they usually also stop at Wembley Central. Always happens for England games, FA Cup, League Cup and even concerts.
They just haven't bothered to include our games in their planning.

The worst thing is, the slow overground takes forever. Even Watford metropolitan line station would be better if you can get across watford? Or even Stanmore on the jubilee

I work right across the road from Watford Junction so no point going to Watford High Street.
Going home afterwards I need to use same line anyway, and I get a discount on the mainline route.

No drinks in the stadium as its a uefa game so the pubs (if there are actually any) are going to be pretty rammed.
