Sounds like roughly half the expected 85,000 will be parking at Stanmore, I may need to rethink that! :)

Anyone going to The Torch, when we were there for the cup final against Chelsea earlier in the year they didn't have anywhere near enough staff working, was about half an hour queue to get served. Ended up popping to the off licence, stocked up with cans, hid them from the door staff and then poured them into plastic pint glasses.

Have also been there in the evenings for England games and it wasn't quite so bad.

Have also drunk many a time at The Railway, about 20 yards left out of West Hampstead tube station. Pretty decent boozer, five or six stops from Wembley Park on the Jubilee.

Green mans decent?

I'd rather go somewhere for the atmosphere.

There is also a half decent pub about 2 minutes from Wembley Park tube (turn right out of tube and its opposite McDonald's) called Watkins Folly, Irish pub, but probably the nearest pub to the stadium and not a bad size.

Yeah, went there before the FA Cup semi final in 2012. Was a pretty good atmosphere, though remember being disappointed because @Netty promised to show me her tits in the lead up to the game but when she turned up all I got was a little feel.

Haven't been there before a midweek game as its a reasonable trek up and down the hill, but yes, when I've been there a couple of times it's been pretty decent.

I do think all the pubs local to Wembley will be a bit of an unknown as we've never had this many of our fans in attendance before. Just hope they all get extra staff in.

Shush - I want to get served and that's the pub I'd selected. Actually it's rubbish in there, no atmosphere - avoid!

I've been to the green man a few times. Was good atmosphere plus had jerk chicken in the garden.

I'm not sure a lot of the pubs even know it's on tbh

I phoned one up this evening to check if it was a Spurs pub and they volunteered that it was an event day. The Old Bill will have been in touch with all of the pubs so would imagine if they didn't know before they do now.

Good-I was in one the other week and the barman didn't even know Spurs were playing at Wembley at all

You'd think they would keep an eye on it as they will make a shit load of money.

I'm working in Hatfield so heading down to Stanmore/Canons Park and tubing it from there heading back to near stevenage after the game.

Does anyone know of on street parking at stanmore to avoid the £5+ parking fee?

This is the parking zones for Stanmore. Basically a five/ten minute walk

You'll get a ticket. When I used to watch England everyone had little yellow plastic envelopes on the windscreen

Ha! I remember once along white hart lane, we were looking at this empty street and a guy and his kids pulled up in full scarfs and colours. We were like 'there's no chance he's not getting a ticket'. Two minutes later the entire empty street was full, and when we walked past a couple more minutes later a little tow truck was lifting the first car onto its back
