The majority of the roads around stanmore are either permit holders 08:00-18:30 or 11:00-12:00 or 15:00-16:00 so there is plenty street parking depending on time you just need to read the signs as they can differ from road to road, another thing to note there are now NO pubs in Stanmore. (wetherspoons is now a nandos)

Tell me about it, before moons arrived there were 3 local pubs in the high st and 1 within walking distance, they all shut down cause they couldnt compete with moons prices, then moons F-off and leave us with a dry town (apart from the trendy bowling place that charges extortionate prices)

Just looked on google maps and there's a place called Wembley Tavern near Wembley Park tube. Anyone been to that before a game at Wembley?

I'm coming in from town, so I'll be in the Red Lion on Kingly Street from 5pm if anyone's going up from Oxford Circus.

Going to try the torch next time. Green man was decent, quick to get a drink and decent Atmosphere. Trek up the hill though.

Sounds like roughly half the expected 85,000 will be parking at Stanmore, I may need to rethink that! :)
Well looks like I was correct about the numbers, loads of people. However, apart from the "operation stack" type situation down Wembley Way, coming home was really smooth - even had a seat from Wembley to Stanmore.
