Daniel, Mauricio and Hugo are at tonight's fans' forum. We'll have updates for you during HT of the Youth Cup game.

Daniel: "If the football side say it affects equilibrium of the squad if we have a player that doesn’t want to be here then we look at it."

Daniel: "In the end, it’s up to Mauricio to decide who he does or doesn’t want."

Mauricio: It’s never easy to sign players & Jan is harder than summer. With the balance we have we need to be careful with who we bring in.

Mauricio: "The level we're at now means it’s not easy to find a player that can improve us."

Mauricio: "The first person who wants to help me improve the squad is Daniel."

Next up, a question was asked about who is the funniest player in the squad...

Mauricio: "Son has surprised us because he’s very funny! He has a very clever humour. It’s a pleasure to work with the players."

Hugo: "Who is the biggest joker? We are very serious...!

There are a lot of funny players but it’s probably Son – he’s very funny."

Hugo: "There’s @kylewalker2 too! In general we have a great atmosphere in the squad which you can see on the pitch."

On the subject of whether or not we can win the league...

Mauricio: "We're very ambitious but we need to manage expectations. We need to keep improving."

Hugo: "We have a great crowd. When we play derbies we can feel our 12th man. It’s a great help for the team."

Hugo: "When you’re a player it feels strange because the crowd at WHL is so close to the pitch which means you really feel the support."

Mauricio: "The energy we get from the fans is unbelievable. It’s important for the team in good & bad moments. You feel the love from fans."

On the most satisfying game...

Mauricio: "It’s difficult because I feel proud after every performance because the @premierleague is the toughest competition in the world."

Mauricio: "The way we play is tough for the players but the most satisfying was the 2-1 win v Arsenal – it was a great feeling."

Mauricio: "The game last week against West Ham was also very good. I was also very proud after the Chelsea final – although we lost." 1/2

Mauricio: "The way we reacted & response of the players was fantastic. We were focused on learning from it & delivering success for fans."

Hugo: "The best is still to come!"

Andros on his bike?

Unlikely to sign a striker to compete with Kane?

Depends. If he means improve the first team and he only wants to buy to improve first team, then no we won't buy as we aren't going to be able to buy better than Kane. If he means squad then, I still think he would want a striker, but that could just mean nothing else, which is fair enough. He may be under the impression that we want loads of signings and it's his way of saying one is enough

Cue draw with Wba. Fans :arghh:And press :ROFLMAO:

What they are saying behind closed doors is probably somewhat different

Ok, I'll write something tonight. The night started with Mauricio being asked what he did to turn the team from 'boys to men' and he just burst out laughing, mind in the gutter.

I like that Poch made reference to the reaction following the CC final defeat. Apparently he made the players stay on the pitch to watch CFC lift the trophy and get them to internalise what had happened - make them hurt about losing. Poch's biggest success to date is creating this sense of pride in the players that will eventually improve the mental strength of the entire club.

A great deal of patience required still but really exciting times seem to lie ahead.

I heard there was a bizarre question from an LGBT Spurs fan. Any idea what that was?

Probably wondering what Conehead was thinking when deciding to break his carefully protected 100k a week wage cap on Ade.

So we were ushered into the very impressive Lilywhite house at about 5:20PM, after some posh looking sandwiches they wheeled the guests out.

The first question was directed at Levy, where a fan told him that we must sign a striker for when the window opens. Levy said how difficult it was to sign players, and it requires many parties negotiating terms to agree, he said that we were always looking to improve the playing squad and get business done early. Poch chimed in and said that we weren't light up front and we had adequate cover, he mentioned how difficult it was to improve an already good team. Poch went on to say that we have a good team spirit and we would only be interested in signing players that would suit our style.

Levy spoke about Poch's skill with young players and that spending money doesn't equal success and listed United who have spent lots of money but not moved forward.

The LGBT representative then asked about whether the club would support a player coming out, which obviously the panel all said 'of course' (not sure what she was expecting them to say). Hugo said that the players don't worry about each other's personal lives and they support each other whatever their choice.

I'll update a bit more later...
