Agree although I was at the England Russia game and the Velodrome does kind of lack a bit of character

I think it was the right thing for Germany to do, going 3421, but Gotze or Draxler would have provided some much needed craft in the final third against the excellent Italian rearguard. Gomez is somewhat incongruous in this German side.

Yeah it has worked in bamboozling Italy. I know Draxler is very hot and cold but he was so unlucky to get dropped after one of the performances of the tournament

2 classic anthems. Love how passionately the Italians sung theirs. Not like out bunch. If I was manager of England I would fine the player who sang the quietest every match.

I thought our players put some effort into singing the national anthem this tournament. They were so much better than the mumbling efforts of the players from the Gerrard era.
