Tragic news was confirmed on Thursday night by Tottenham Hotspur. Former defender Goran Bunjevcevic has died aged just 45.
Bunjevcevic spent five years with Tottenham. He joined Spurs from Red Star Belgrade in 2001. Bunjevcevic left White Hart Lane in 2006 when he joined Dutch side ADO Den Haag. Bunjevcevic won 16 caps for Yugoslavia in his career.

Sad news. Don't think we ever used him properly and he played out of position in a very mediocre team. How times have changed. Rest in Peace Goran.

Sad news. Does anyone know what part of Yugo he was from? Wondering if Croatia would wear an armband for a former Yugo international???

Shocking news - The Balkan Beckenbauer, and he did have a good touch, who was brought into play Hoddles system as a sweeper but ended up in Central midfield as a holding player if I remember rightly.
