Hopefully Fellaini will get slapped with a ban after today which will hurt Everton somewhat

He'll be suspended for sure. It was pretty blatant what he was trying to do - he was trying to book himself a Xmas holiday. It looks like that goal is going to be accomplished and if I were an Everton fan I'd be utterly pissed about it. They're very lucky that they his antics didn't cost them further still. Had he been sent off who knows how the Stoke game may have ended.

Not that I'm complaining so far as it effects us. I think that Everton are going to be a far bigger challenger for fourth than many here realise, but if they lose Fellaini for three games or so they will suffer for it big time.

Fellaini will be a challenge for the FA because they have 3 seperate incidents to deal with 2 of them were easily red card offenses. The one where shawcross was cuddling him and pinching his nipples is excusable but it should be 6 games and done.

3 games. Total pss take. Straight reds attract a 3 game ban and there are some very iffy ones. Are they seriously saying this should only be punished to the same level as Adebayor, for example, for that bad but ultimately harmless, derby tackle ?

No consistency at all. A head butt is violent conduct. A different player and the punishment is worse andthe media would be calling for it. It's almost like the FAwait to see how the media views it then chooses a punishment to fit whatever they think will get them the least attention.

Thing is they gave him a longer ban than Terry they would be accused of special treatment that four match ban is now almost like a limit that wasnt there before

In fact it was actually less than Adebayor's punishment because Ade was sent off with 3/4 of the game to play whereas Fellaini played the full 90 and helped his team earn a point
