It's ok. 2 extra games for Chelsea now in January could benefit us.
Good thing they drew Swansea and not Bradford.

Hope for a gruelling second leg that Swansea win in the last second of extra time. I'm not saying penalties because then the Chavs would win.

Hopefully yes. I think everybody's fear was that Benitez will start to win their dressing room and they gather momentum

I see that the red scum have given themselves a week off over Xmas. Lucky tw*ts. If it was anyone other than the Spammers (or us) they'd have had to play it. It's perfectly possible to get to and from the Death Star during a tube strike, more so than Craven Cottage and Loftus Road who are still going ahead - against teams whose fans are coming halfway across England

I suppose the consolation is that we are more likely to go into the Janury transfer window in 3rd or 4th place

We just have to concentrate on winning our games and the rest will take care of itself.

You're quite right - I think we fans should blindfold ourselves and block our ears for the next 5 months to avoid any possibilty of distraction by non-Spurs-related information (y)

Referees taking centre stage today in the Arse and Everton matches..
The ref in Wigan - Arse was terrible. I think he got the penalty decision right though, Walcott is definitely pushed even if he probably went down a bit easy. But the way he effectively sin-binned Di Santo for two minutes was one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen a ref do.

I thought the Carlton Cole red which sent Everton on their way was very harsh too..

These things pan out over a season.

Us getting CL comes down to Levy going for it early in Jan

I don't want to jinx it but is 2nd a possibility after today? I think it might be beyond us but we're only 6pts behind City

I reckon we could catch City, but not so sure about Chelsea - top 3 definite possibility. Maybe.

We are back in 4th position. Bring on Sunderland.

We really should be looking for a win at Sunderland. Our away form has been terrific.

In fact, if today had been a home game I fear we may have not have won as: (a) Villa wouldn't have stopped parking the bus; and (b) the fans would have gotten on the players' backs (like they were on here this evening...) and made them more nervous.
