There's too many must win games now, we've already blown it.

If you want to be in the title race, it's that way from the start of the season. Chelsea won almost 80% of their games last season. So yes we have to win almost every game if we want to be in the picture, but it's always that way no matter where we happen to be at the moment.

Still think city are a bit overrated.Yes very good but not unbeatable.Defence still looks shaky. They have some very good players but nobody that I think is terrifying.Still think If we can hang in there anything could happen.

Tbh I don’t think they’re that overrated. They have scored a record number of goals so far and have torn apart Home and away a very good Napoli team. Tactically they are amazing winning back the ball so often, then they keep the ball so well it’s just so suffocating and hard to play against they have so much pace they hit you on the break they tire you out. Teams play in to their hands a bit by just pussying out and not playing football against them, key is to actually keep the ball well and get behind their defence. They will run away with the league. But they’re playing on confidence at the moment so was hoping they would draw or lose today to lose some momentum as the longer this run goes on the better they will get.

All we can do is keep doing our stuff and see where we get like you I believe city will win it no question, for me they are better than everyone else and have so much quality in depth it's ridiculous.

Was clear last year their defence was massively flawed so there was always a chance they would tail off like they did but with that addressed hard to pick weak spots. To me they are in the top 3 teams in Europe right now. Hard to see that changing for a few years now. The chance was in the Pellegrini/Mancini eras and last year.

Pretty bullish. You dont think a team wtih DeBryne, Sane, Silva, Aguero/Jesus, Sterling (now living up to potential) is not terrifying? Weakest link in the team is probably Delph and Otamendi but neither are as bad as Kolarov, a past it Zabaleta, Bravo etc last year

I’m going to be contrarian and agree with you. There was a 15 minute period in the second half today where the goons attacked them and they looked vulnerable.

They are all great players but as we know it's not the players, it's the team that wins games. I don't know how some of those players would cope with a defeat or some negative pressure.

I'm looking forward to us playing them and seeing how they get on after losing to us.

Indeed.

Was just looking at the week leading up to playing them - which is a 5.30 kick off on Saturday 16th December.

There's mid week games that week as well. We both play on the Wednesday, us at home to Brighton and them away to Swansea.

Interestingly we have Stoke at home on Saturday 9th December, and they have the Manchester Derby on Sunday 10th December, away to United.

So a more congested, and potentially draining, week in the lead up to our game for them.

And anything can happen in derbies, more chance of injuries and suspensions.

For some reason I'm confident we will beat them. Not much confidence any one else will though unfortunately!

We need Leicester or someone like that to give them a shock defeat. A surprise loss can do things to a team.

Agree. Although we need to be at full strength to beat them!

As mentioned before the top6 clubs in the carabo cup have 14 yes FOURTEEN back to back games(3 days break) from nov 18th-new year.At least we have the carabo week break.I think it’s quite unprecedented to be that congested.I think they’ve loaded this end of season because of World Cup.Also How Xmas dates fall.Pretty sure around last Xmas we had a 10 day break. With such an intense period alot could happen.

What are you on about? Did that make sense when you said it in your head?! Its the team that win games? Yes I can see that. Its the players that make the team. The players in a team that in this case is smashing anything in front of them

Lets be honest, City look amazing this far.

But they have barely had any injuries and play with such a high intensity they are bound to run out of steam at some point. They played the same way in the summer friendly against us and haven't taken their foot of the gas since.

Won't surprise me one bit if they struggle with fatigue come Mars. Especially if they get any amount of meaningful injuries to their key players.

By the time they get to Mars - they will be out of sight...
