What Liverpool and Arsenal have better defenders than us ? Not one Liverpool defender would get in our squad let alone our team.

I don't remember mentioning defenders I was referrng to the creative and attacking players within the team's that's the difference.

Well if we assume we won't catch City, and the thread title seems to do just that, then this has been a pretty bloody good weekend for us as we made up points on all of our close rivals, including Watford if the fancy takes you.

Yeah. 2nd and 3rd lost while 4th and 5th drew. We won while chalking up on goal scored.

I think it's fair to say it's not an assumption that we won't catch city who are about 20 points in front of us, so yes the race for top four is hotting up it looks like 3rd and 4th are possible.

18 pts clear with 20 games to play. 6 game winning swing just to be level. I like to think I'm an optimist, but there's no way that City team are losing 6+ games this season, whilst we go undefeated for the rest. I'd take 2nd again though

18 pts clear with 20 games to play. 6 game winning swing just to be level. I like to think I'm an optimist, but there's no way that City team are losing 6+ games this season, whilst we go undefeated for the rest. I'd take 2nd again though

Ha ha that is optimistic but I will certainly settle for 3rd or 4th as Chelsea don't look that great this year either so the last two spots are up for grabs.

Back where we belong. Thing is, really would be an amazing boost to win the next match, seeing as all other top 4 contenders have walk-in-the-park matches. Hope next round for us isn't vs. some oil infused, money laundering gang of self entitled crooks.

With City next and us only joint 4th with two other teams, it still seems like we going against the tide. Our realistic goal should be 3rd though, Chelsea are lazy unless they're chasing a trophy and now the titles gone they'll struggle for motivation.

We are the team that end others teams runs remember. But we're gonna miss Toby and DS on saturday so I'd take a draw now.....

Agreed. I'd love a draw, and I think we are either the 3rd or 4th best team in the league overall.
