nor was Swansea when they lost to them.

Palace are not strong but are no push over.

and Everton is a local derby where form can very easily go out the window.

we have Chelsea and City in our remaining fixtures, hopefully get something from Chelsea even a draw, and hope City are on the beach after beating Utd the week before to lift the title

Yeah totally, we’re all guessing mate. Just got to let it play out.

I just hope city don’t need to win against us to win the title and it’s wrapped up before then. But you just know it won’t happen.

It's looking like their 'title game' will be against Man Utd or us, although probably the latter.

So hopefully, they'll have it wrapped up a week before playing us

Ideal scenario is the week before. So they don’t have enough time to get head back in gear. Gap to Chelsea could well be 5 pts and decent thumping of Huddersfield could mean goal difference makes it 6 pts.

A bit of perspective, in the last fives games we have made up one point on Man City and Liverpool, two points on Man United and five points on Chelsea and Arsenal.
Over those five games we have played Southampton, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Crystal Palace with three away games and two London derbies.

This year was very good timing for us in terms of City running away with it. We were very much outsiders for the title playing at Wembley and this has borne true - even if we won every match now we wouldn't do as well as we did last year. It would be much more frustrating to see someone win in in the low-80s this year when we won't get that many, and then get 85-90 next season only to see City get 100+.

What's even better is this table.

10 points behind United
7 behind Chelsea
4 behind Liverpool
1 behind Goons

We've done incredibly well to get back into contention, and with our run-in we've put ourselves in a fine position. Those 7 points earned against United, Liverpool and Arsenal certainly gave us that springboard.

If we do manage to finish second then it will top last season in my opinion, considering the challenges we have faced this season.

to be totally honest with Spurs this last few seasons I've become quite optimistic, next season for some reason I believe will be just as hard as this season, if not even harder. the new stadium might be near enough on old ground, but still the pitch will be bigger than it used to be, and visiting teams will be determined to have their 1st visit to the NWHL not end in defeat.

Interesting to note that our home record currently 9w 4d 1L 31 pts is going to be better than the season before last when we were at WHL..It was 10-6-3 total 36 pts. Last season was a bit of a one off

Hopefully WBA will be down before we play them in the penultimate game. Likewise, let's hope City have the title wrapped up before we play them, although I have a horrible feeling that we will do them the honour of crowning them champions at Wembley.

Newcastle may need something on the final day against Chelsea, which should help. Shouldn't matter either way though as we found out

Overall, I'd take our fixtures over anyone elses though.

what a difference a month makes we looked to have one of the toughest run ins now looks doable. (fingers crossed). Man Utd have looked bang average for their position but last night could see alexis and lukaku start to click a bit with a number of good chances. I still think Man Utd could be the ones to drop out. Points above if City dont lose a game, all top 5 draw and wins against the rest, leaves us fourth. This is so tight and really is ours to lose - Oh god i hate this bit its squeaky bum time again, ill take 4th now please

no different to wembley this year, always felt this was going to be tough for us this year. Next year i think we will be over the hump if we can maintain the defence we have
