Still think Liverpool are vulnerable with CL semi to play. Just be 4 pts if Chelsea beat them at the bridge.

Look, I don't know if this has been posted anywhere else, but hey ho...

Ahem...if we win against Brighton on Tuesday it is officially St Gooners' day.

I think if we win the last 5 which is completely plausible we will get 2nd. United have some tricky away games Bournemouth and West Ham. And Arsenal at home. But we have to win all 5 of ours and might be close. Especially if we beat them in semi I could see a united meltdown.

They're 4 points ahead, we're not gonna overtake them.

I don't really care where we finish as long as we win that FA Cup

I do! Finishing above Man Utd and Liverpool would be a great achievement regardless. Getting second for two years in a row would be great!

My point is ultimately it doesn't matter especially if we win the cup which should be our focus now.

I know maureen is a proven winner but his style of football is embarrassing. We can still hunt them down and I believe we will.

I think finishing 2nd would make a massive difference in how our season is perceived as opposed to coming 4th. Also big impact on Liverpool and united. Liverpool so lauded, what if they come 4th and don’t win CL how will that look. United coming 4th with no FA Cup would be seen as a mini disaster.

If we came second again it would be an amazing achievement. We’ve only gone second 4 or 5 times in our history!

Hands up how many of us would take the FA Cup and CL qualification in 4th place if it was offered to us right now? I wouldn't need to be asked a 2nd time I'd take that deal with both hands if it was offered right now, no questions asked.

I thought that we would get second up until ManUre beat Citeh. I was expecting some negative goal difference for them from that too. Instead they were a goal up. Now it's possible but unlikely. If we had then taken a point last night against Citeh and in the light of the WBA result then game on.

Should it get that close then we have to hope that Arse are scared enough of finishing below Burnley that they are up for the ManU game

I always say that there will still be surprises. Today is yet another example and we couldn't take advantage. But we are running out of games now so fingers crossed but might be 3rd/4th

I gave us little chance of getting top four at the start of the season as playing at Wembley but it looks like were going to do that which is a massive achievement.
If we can beat united and win fa cup that would be just fantastic.
Big IF though.
