My main worry is the psychological effect that losing yet another Semi-Final could have when it comes to our run-in.

I think we can do it but we desperately need to find our form again, starting Saturday.

Technically 6 with the superior goal difference. Basically us beating Chelsea has nullified the last 2 games where Chelsea have gained 5 on us. Remember if we didn't overturn being 1 down against Chelsea the gap then would have been 4 points. That was a massive result
chelscum can get a max of 75 points so we need 7 min (with GD in our favor)

Athletico smashed 3-0 by sociedad.

Could this season turn into the ultimate nightmare?

Liverpool win CL
Arsenal win Europa
Chelsea finish 4th & cup

Oh why were we so half arsed Tuesday.
I don't see us losing another league game but all it takes is a couple frustrating draws now
My god if that happened I might give up football for good.
Saying that it might be worth a fiver on a little acca to soften the blow.

With Alli, Dembele, Dier, Trippier and even Toby playing a part, we'll be fine

Plus Kane's sharpness will increase with every game

I don't know what you guys are stressing about

If Chelsea fail to win either of their next two (Swansea away, Liverpool home), wins against Watford home and WBA away will see top four secured.

Find it strange how there's so much doom and gloom in here, you'd have thought Chelsea have just gone 5 ahead of us

Some people in the Brighton match thread were thinking top 4 is done and dusted, need to win at least 2/4 to secure it because I don’t see Chelsea dropping another point this season. 3 points minimum needed against Watford, if not I think we’ll fall out the top 4. We’ve seen this movie before

If we dont finish 4th, we are a bunch of legends.... Sorry but true!

to lose a 10 point lead over 6 games would be unforgivable, we lost a 10 point lead to Arsenal in 2016 with 10 games to go and that was bad enough

We need a big performance on Saturday and again the following Monday against Watford, my worry is Chelsea will likely be 2 points behind us when we come out against Watford and we know we struggle when in scenarios like this.

Tuesday was a huge fuck up, I can accept last Sat but Tues still pisses me off as we have just given Chelsea such a lift

I personally think we will be Ok and will get 4th but due to the team not turning up Tuesday they have made it very, very difficult. Finish 5th and no trophies after where we was on 1st April would be unforgivable

We've been shit since beating Chelsea. Didnt play too well against Stoke. Were awful against City and Brighton. I now fear another hangover if we actually manage to beat United in the semi.

While I agree, we were 10 pts clear just six days ago. All of a sudden it becomes a slight distraction again - which we could use without on Saturday

At the end of the day it's totally in our hands. If we get pipped by Chelsea it's because we're not good enough. Simple as.
Btw if anyone fancies that nightmare accumulator I mentioned I reckon it's over 300/1 (arsenal Europa, Chelsea top 4, Liverpool CL)

Exactly. If we can’t get 7 points from WBA away, Leicester Newcastle and Watford at home then we don’t deserve top 4. Simple as that. And this is assuming Chelsea will win all theirs - Liverpool and Huddersfield at home, Swansea and Newcastle away is on paper still a harder run in their ours.

£5 on "just" Arsenal winning EL and Chelsea to clinch top 4 gave me £340-ish on bet365 (in Sweden I don't know if that matters).

I'm pretty certain we're fine, we would have to have the most monumental bottlejob in recent memory to fuck this up
