I'm focusing on the semi-final this week, rather than the top 4.
Bur I'm hoping Kane will eventually find some form and that will be the end of any worries.

PS If anyone was sure enough that chelsea might still qualify that they'd put money down, then they'd get 16/1 elsewhere and potentially collect a nice little sum for their risk.
I'm no expert but if you've had no takers, then I think you need to make your offer more competitive.
Yeah silly bollocks (me)I’d had beer got fed up with the bs and made a silly post
no ones gonna take it there ain’t anyone that stupid surely
Still feel a bit stupid about the original post myself tbh
Drink eh

There's a HUGE difference between CL and EL football. The tens of millions and prestige of playing in the CL ensures we're able to target a higher calibre of player. Additonally, Chelsea missing out could see Hazard leave and they'll have to overpay massively to attract top players.

Hasn’t mattered so far because we don’t pay the level of wages they want so they haven’t come.

We haven't paid the level of wages before but I'm not sure that will be the case from now on, I don't suppose we'll match silly wages like City and the like but we are moving into a different league from a wages perspective.
I know people think Levy is tight and won't pay big wages but I don't suscribe to that view, he doesn't pay wages he believes the club can't afford but that's not the same thing, our turnover will increase so the wages can increase too.
There really is no point in spending almost two decades developing the club and building a brand new state of the art stadium just to float along at the same level, that would be bad business and Levy doesn't do bad business.

I turned the game off at 2-0 in disgust saying West Brom deserve to go for lack of passion

Just seen the score and pissed my chair :ROFLMAO:

Good job I have rubber and chrome seats :ninja::whistle:
Jesus I've only just realised WBA got back to 2-2 after reading your post (y)

The fact we’ve scored in 33 consecutive games I actually find quite astonishing. Anyone know the English club record?

Massive result for us because it means Pool can't take it too easy V Chelsea
I just realised that if Chelsea beat Liverpoool and win their game in hand then they'll only be 2 points behind Liverpool........I despise Chelsea, but my god the meltdown if Liverpool lost 4th would be delicious!

I looked today and Tottenham finishing outside top 4 is now evens 1/1
Which is hilarious given if we win our game in hand we're on the same points as Liverpool. What are their odds to finish outside top 4. Liverpool have to play Chelsea. Itll be interesting to see how they both manage to win that match.

for that to really happen, Chelsea would need to win all their remaining games, and Liverpool to only get 1 more point from their remaining 3 matches, not going to happen with Stoke and Brighton going to Anfield

Edit: for some reason I had Liverpool on 73pts now, not 71
