Goal diff is also important to Huddersfield. They certainly won’t want to get hammered. Personally I think they will try their best tomorrow but will see the Arsenal game as the target. So I don’t think they’d really chase the game if go 1-0 down. Best we can hope for tomorrow is a 0-0 imo.

Huddersfield need something out of this game otherwise they’re going down. Can’t see them getting anything against Arsenal and you would expect Swansea to beat Stoke. With this being a likely life or death game for Huddersfield we could seal a top 4 finish tonight.

Thing is Newcastle have been a bogey team for us in recent years, and even when they've had a lot worse and more badly organised sides than their current one.

They were more so a bogey team away from home. At home wasn't really an issue with Newcastle.

Sorry guys but it always amaze me when fans start to doubt their own side and the media too pile the pressure on.

This is all so unnecessary for the fans to do so as the players are only human and could plant doubts into their heads when they are only human.

A bit like how the English fans and media always wanna hang the English teams out to dry in major tournaments, why harp on the Dentist's Chair, etc buy creating a negative atmosphere?????

We as fans should get behind them, sing loud at Wembley tonight and urge the boys on (although i'll be in front of the telly at 3am in Singapore)

I'd love Chelsea to drop points tonight and for us to seal qualification with a win but on the other hand, the ultimate outcome for me is win both our games, get 3rd, chelsea 4th and Liverpool lose the CL final and end up in the Europa.

Much like the email the club have sent out entitled "get behind the club tomorrow night" with a statement from the gaffer.

Don’t see anything wrong with that at all. What else are they going to say? Please get on the players backs if we haven’t scored after 20 minutes? ?

Just paid for my season tickets for next season. Now if that isn’t all the impetus this team needs to push on and get top 4 after Sunday, then I don’t know what is!
Am I wrong in deciding to wait until the 14th before paying for mine?

... and Salah to leave to pursue CL football.

That does sound sweet but the automatic implication of that is that chelsea get CL, I'd prefer it the other way round any day of the week.
The best outcome is for chelsea to win both games, we win both our games and Liverpool beat Brighton with a 96th minute winner after the chelsea game is finished, how good for their heartbreak would that be.

Just realised that of their last five league games since we beat them chelsea have only scored eight goals. They drew one, at home to West Ham, and won four but none of those wins was by more than a single goal and two of those games were against Southampton and Swansea so it's going to take a turnaround of miraculous proportions for them to claw back a ten goal deficit.

The thing is Liverpool missing out completely might see players leaving, and find it hard to replace. With Chelsea if their players leave the Russian will go out and buy a replacement as good or even better

Tbh I couldn’t care less whether we finish 3rd or 4th. And I care even less who else finishes in the top 4. As long as we do.

Eh? You are aware that we are 4th at the moment right? We need a win and a draw to achieve the maximum number of points that Chelsea can and in doing so would have a minimum goal difference advantage of 10.
Oh good lol I miss calculated that by 1 PT thought if we got 4 and they got 6 they’d be 1 PT ahead. More confident now we can get at least 4 pts.

For the pessimists out there £5 on a Newcastle and Chelsea double tonight brings in just shy of £100. Might soften the blow should the worst happen.

I looked at the odds of us not finishing top 4 after the Chelsea game and we were 28-1 not to. Down to 8’s now wish I had put a few quid on just in case
