That's mathematically but he didn't say mathematically he said realistically, they won't win all theirs so if we win all ours realistically we could win the league was I think what he meant.

Massive when they go to OT. United will be so up for it, and with home advantage I think they'll beat them.

I never get why the media was so focused on portraying Liverpool in a injury crisis and poor Klopp for having to deal with it cos fucking Henderson and Lovren are injured, but barely mention the injury crisis we have faced this season.

While I think they have not acknowledged all of our injuries, the press have mentioned in about every article I read how well we are managing our situation regarding Kane, Dele and until last week Son.

In fairness to Klopp, he is also missing Gomez and Alexander-Arnold. With that said, Klopp brought part of this on himself by letting Clyne go on loan.

Regardless how you look at it, Poch has handled our host of injuries much better than Klopp.

Didn’t we beat them easily this season with the same players they have now

They were missing Vardy, I think that makes them pretty toothless, we should still logically have enough quality but I'm still wary.

Yeah, I appreciate he didn't say mathematically. But I guess the point I was making is 11 wins from 13 is even more realistic than 13 wins from 13 - and in this case both scenarios are possible and Liverpool still win the league. At the moment we don't have any margin for error (nor do Man City) whereas Liverpool can afford to lose 1 and draw 1 and still win the league. I think before we can 'realistically' talk about being involved in this we need Liverpool to slip up again.

we play Everton at Home on the last day of the season........just saying :)

my god, could you imagine the salty tears if we need a win to keep Liverpool from winning it, i think we could all quite happily never win the league again and bath in the tears of our scouse brethren.

Imagine going into last game 1pt ahead of Liverpool and we have Everton at Wembley. Some may suggest they might rollover ?

Thats true, Poch has handle our situation with class, whilst Klopp just keeps uses it as it a excuse, shows his lack of class

Somehow, I feel this season is a better chance for us to win the league than Leicester year.
We have had no luck all season. Hopefully, if we keep plugging away, it could turn for us. With Kane & Dele to come back in a weeks time, we could go into the tough feb-march run in with some hope. We do have 3 tough away games - Chelsea, Liverpool & City. But given how well we have been doing away from home, should give us the confidence to get the result in atleast 2 of those 3 games.
For a realisitic title challenge , I feel City is a bigger threat than Liverpool. With their recent defensive injuries and lack of creativity of late, they are going to crumble under their own pressure.
For us, its going to be how we narrow the gap down to both and get a decent result against the 2 in the games left.

Just to piss on everyone's chips a little, it has traditionally take Kane a half dozen or so games to get back up to speed following injury. So I wouldn't count on his return to give us a turbo-boost. It'll be welcome of course, but we can't bank on it I don't think.

To win the league we are more than likely going to have to win at city, Liverpool and Chelsea which I can't see happening even with all the positivity in the world that is a tough ask.

I get the point but there's nothing realistic about winning all of our matches though :D

Yeah I think people are getting a bit carried away at this stage.

We also have Chelsea away, Arsenal home and Dortmund away all in the space of a week, and despite Kane progressing well no guarantee of him or Ali playing in any of them.

As mentioned in another thread, we managed an incredible 12 wins from 13 at the end of 16/17 season. We didn't have to play Chelsea, Liverpool or Man City away during that run though..

Whilst there is a chance there will always be hope.
