Hopefully eriksen won’t have to play. Be a nice 2 weeks off for him. Wonder how the players are being treated in Denmark. Maybe it’s effected him a bit if they are getting bad press.

Doesn't sound like he will be playing. Theres some kind of sponsorship row going on with the Danish FA and the players

well after today's performance, Levy must be regretting being to involved in the stadium and not arranging someone to keep an eye on that or find someone even just for this season to strengthen the squad. we have so many players that haven't had a break that's needed, and today with our performance it looked very lethargic and passing not anywhere what a top 6 team should be producing.

so far Chelsea have gained 8pts against the same ops as last season. to finish top 4 at the moment we will need Man U to drop a lot more, as I don't expect Watford to stay there, and don't see Arse turning around the difference. might have to hope Chelsea's EL slows them down

We’re in a battle for 4th with United and the Scum.

Pretty shit knowing that the league is already over for us and top 4 now is the aim. Would have like to have some hope going to into at least January before I have my meltdown.

Lol. So for the second game in a row where we’ve lost every single one of our rivals win. Man Utd swatting away Watford like we should have. All looking strong, all getting results. Where we currently look a complete shell of a team.
5 games in and its looking like a race for 4th place at best.

I thought we’d be up there but now I think it’s a tough ask. Our players look lost at the moment.

Shouldn't be a surprise that we miss out at times, money rules and we're sixth there.
Will hurt though.

It typical spurs to gain automatic champions qualification for the new stadium and get Barca in group and not actually play any champions league in new home and then not qualify next season.

I'm not that upset. We all knew the priority wasn't trying to win the league when we didn't buy anyone. Top four was clearly the target from the outset.

4th at best this year which again would be amazing but would be falling behind further, to think we finished 3rd, 2nd, 3rd in our last 3 campaigns, 4th would be regression but amazing....

IMO though Utd will be too strong and we are more in a race for 5th with Arse

If we look this shot only a few games into the season, I highly doubt we’ll finish top 4. Looks very competitive this season.

Still very early days Liverpool have Chelsea and city in next 3 games. Ours on paper are very winnable. Could easily go into next international break level on points with Liverpool. If not level I’d be surprised if the gap was still 6pts. Not deny we are a bit of s shambles at the moment. But things can change quickly we all know that.

we are pretty much always late starters but i am really hoping this current drop in form after the manu game is not something that will continue for long. our peers are not gonna drop many stupid results and a few other teams have toughened up and got wiser. after leicester winning the title we should realise it shows a way for previously mid-tablers to use strngth and fibre to overcome teams like us on an ‘off day’. we can’t afford bloody off days, this is the premiership, not a kids league.
what the actual fuck happens to top players when they appear to have taken high dose codeine before a match?
rant continuing

if we were to go in level with Liverpool, we will still be 6 adrift of Chelsea, 4 a drift of City, and with both of them coming up soon after, when Liverpool will have easier games

IF we beat Brighton, we would have 6 points from the last 4 games (Utd, Watford, Pool & Brighton). We only got 5 points from the equivalent fixtures last year.

The worry is that we just don't look right so not overly confident but it is doable.

COYS, please please please don't let us down!!
