Back down to 5th

So now if we don't win tonight it will be a terrible round for us. Of we do win however things look healthy again even with a slight fools hope of a title challenge

Just when I thought Chelsea could fade and start drifting away they go and beat City, fuck sake.

Our next 11 league games look very nice in my opinion. If we perform to our capabilities we should find ourselves in a very strong position after them.

All that means is that we are going to have a hard run off games after that

Of course but we would have a huge amount of momentum if those games above went as expected! Could see us much closer to the top then we are now!

Be interesting to see in how many previous seasons our current points total would see us at the top of the table? The pace that has been set this season is like no other I can remember.

Well yes, but it also means we can put ourselves in a very strong position to stay in top 4 rather than being adrift.

I’m predicting after next 11 league games we’ll be getting hyped about being in a title race. Then those 5 after we’ll mess it up before galvanising last 5 games to get top 4.

Interesting that if we were to be in a title race with six games to go - and that's a big if which would be an achievement in itself - we'd still have both the other contenders to play and potentially beat, albeit away from home. We'd almost certainly need to do so in at least one of those games if we were to actually win the whole thing.

Most of the time the top six tend to get similar results against the rest of the league in that they see them off generally speaking, where it will come down to will be the results against each other in those top spots, if we can pick up some wins here and there then we have a slight chance.

Much rather have the points on the board going into the last 11 games. As said confidence will be high we might be in the stadium. City Liverpool may be in later stages CL. Ultimately if we can position ourselves in touching distance with 11 to go anything could happen. Yes a big ask but our fate may be in our own hands go to Anfield or etihad and win and who knows.

A bit has been said about our style of play and how it doesn't excite but we seem to have a fantastic formula to our play, probably more so away from home than at Wembley but the controlling and containing style that we do have I think really adds to our effectiveness away from home. Against the 'lesser' teams that is.

It may not be sparkling and may have more back passes and sidewards passes across the defence than I'd initially wish for but it's solid and tidy football with sprinkles of quality from the likes of Eriksen, Dele, Son and Kane.
