The familiar spurs pattern in the past would be a great result is achieved and then in the next game up the wheels fall off, I'd like to think that this spurs side is past all that and will see of Burnley comfortably at least I think we should.

I don’t think we should expect a great performance tomorrow. Tuesday will have taken a lot out of them.

Just get the 3 points, move on and hopefully save something in reserve for the Arsenal game next week.

a potential ? skin.

Too soon man!

This weekend will be more of a test in terms of mentality rather than physicality I reckon. We need the coaching staff to get the players focused and motivated after the adrenaline rush of Tuesday. I have absolute faith that they will get the job done.

Yep mentally and emotionally tuesday was draining even for the fans.
Every game is important these days. Hopefully we can keep them focussed.

1-0 to the spurs works for me

I think they will be buzzing. Start with intent and we can finish the game by halftime.

Performance like I expected. Just didn’t think we’d leave it that late.

As I said, take the 3 points and move on.

Burnley were a bit unlucky today so hopefully they get lucky next time out. Who are they playing next.... those bloody Goons!

Insane how high the standard is to win the league now. If we win our next two games we'll be on track to reach 90 points as of the halfway mark. Nobody has ever got to 90 and not won the league, but we almost certainly wouldn't win it and instead would probably finish 3rd. In fact us getting 86 points a couple of years back made us the second-best runner-up ever behind United in the Aguerooooo year.

I know I was working this out earlier. The top 5 this year really are in a separate league to everyone, by a long distance. 5th place this season could finish on mid 70 points.

Potentially even more. Right now Arsenal are on track to finish 5th on 81 points, the same total that saw Leicester win the league. Question is how much this is a fluke (in which case you'd expect it'll revert to the mean and the top teams won't keep doing quite so well), and how much it's just them being miles, miles better than the bottom 14/15 (in which case you'd expect those insanely high final totals).

Everton away is a tough one. May be our 1st draw here

Yeah it's going to be tricky, that said they'll look to attack us, could be quite an entertaining game.

If it's relatively open I could see us out gunning them. Fancy a 3-2 win or something. Going to be a real cracker I think.

Our away form is outstanding as well. I'd still make us slight favourites, albeit it's a pretty tough looking game.

If we beat Everton next week you might have to change the thread title ? after that 6 of the next 8 are at Wembley with only United of top 6 to face and the 2 away are Cardiff and Fulham. If we beat Everton there’s a very real chance we could be very very close come the end of February and then it may come down to Liverpool and city head to head games. Getting secretly excited.

Something tells me we've been conserving more energy than them as well. We could really crank up a gear come the new year.
