Shit result yesterday. Work with a few utd fans who said we were unlucky not to win. As others have said, on another day we'd have won that game.

Hope a week between games will help with the injuries but we just don't have the squad to be competing on 4 fronts. I really think next season we need to prioritise, obviously the league and cl are the top 2, therefore I do think we need to start blooding more youngsters in the carabao Cup to save the first 11.

The last month has been brutal for us in terms of the amount of games and lack of time in between. Liverpool have been lucky with injuries and going out of the cups early so their main 11 get plenty of recovery time between games.
Poch would have played a weaker team in the carabao cup if everyone got off his back that he hasn't won a trophy yet.
Plus getting london derbies didn't help, he didn't want to lose to the pikeys, scum or chavs.

Still 7 points ahead of 5th place and with a better goal difference of +10. I think the key is going to be how we get by over the next month or so with possibly Kane and Son unavailable and juggling the cups.

Goons have Chelsea and City within the next 5, Utd have Leicester (a) and Pool (h), whereas we have no one of note with maybe Leic/Watford (h) the hardest. We have our easiest stretch coming up in the league. It gets tough for us when we play Chelsea (27th Feb) and Goons in 1 week.

Not really worried about top 4 until there is reason to, but I am worried about facing Dortmund if no Kane.

I am worried tbh. Winks and Sissoko have played non-stop, with an increased injury risk as a result. Kane is gone for a few weeks and Son can miss up to 5 games (I think) if we are unlucky. A long term injury on Sissoko or Winks and it can be really hard to pick up many points in the "easier" games to come.

We don't know all of that yet, most of it is nothing more than stipulations. There is no need to worry at this precise moment, why bother with looking at the glass as half empty, when you can reach for the full bottle?

With so many injuries, I can seriously see us struggling to beat the so-called lesser sides, being reeled in by Chelsea - who are spending again - and United - who may well do and with the OGS bump.

We’ll be alright for top 4 but I’m a bit worried with Kane out. If Son was still here I’d be ok with Kane being out for a month.

We should’ve just injected Son with a non serious virus straight after the UTD game tbh.

top 4 has become much tougher but maybe missing out on top 4 will show Levy what a prick he was in the summer and gambled.
this weekend really was awful for us after it started so well with Spam beating Arsenal but Utd have closed the gap and they are the ones I fear.
Our next few games are easier on paper but didn't we all think that about Wlves?
must win on Sunday but just don't see where goals are coming from with no Son, Kane, Lucas.
Drop points on Sunday and we are in trouble

Don't think levy was being a prick more a case of very careful with all things financial but yes not buying certainly was a mistake on the club's behalf, but the good thing now is the ridiculous notion that the club was in a title race can be put to bed and instead make sure that we claim a top four finish.
It won't be easy now with two strikers out of action for several weeks and with a semi final looming not great timing but this was always on the card's the moment we knew sonny would be away now the club face a difficult couple of weeks deciding what they should do stick or twist.

Thing is it only takes one more slip up for the gap to potentially be 4 points then all of a sudden we don't look so out of reach to the teams below us. Really need to stay strong in this period. Thank god we have the league fixtures we do to be honest.

Fulham (a), Watford (h), Newcastle (h), Leicester (h) and Burnley (a) before Chelsea and Arsenal.

Christ, just got home and read seen the Kane injury news. We're in big trouble for achieving the two things that I care about: winning a pot, and finishing above Arsenal. What a shitty way to start my evening.

Levy has only done what he always does. Getting into the top 4 is the goal, the key thereafter is to maintain it whilst selling fringe players and then replacing them with youth. The only time to spend is under threat of relegation. He has not ambition to win anything and so will never invest in improving the team - he only recycles money spent from player sales.

Unfortunately - the aim of top four catches up eventually, hopefully we can hang on for one more year, but I don't expect the new stadium will change anything, rather the future will all be about paying down the stadium debt.

We hit the jackpot with Kane, Eriksen, Dele, Toby, Walker and Jan. World Class players signed for modest fees which allowed us to get into the top 4. This has paid dividend for the club in terms of providing the cash for the new stadium which will translate into cash for Levy and Lewis when they sell.

Im filled with lots of negativity today.
Cant really get over the man u loss. We outplayed them, yet we dont manage to beat them.
Kane injured. Son leaving for national team. Selling dembele.
No one incoming it seems.
I not very positive at the moment.

To be fair I’d prefer a few more away games - we’ve lost our last two at home...
