West Ham is the 1 I really worry about.

Yeah but look how excited they are to get a look at the new stadium though.

Crucial that City beat United. If that happens, and Chelsea don't win at Old Trafford, we are guaranteed Top 4 with 9 points. Unless something insane happens goal-difference wise.

Is that assuming United pick up 3 points tomorrow against Everton?

It will be tough but today's performance gave me a lot of confidence that we can do it.

3 home games, win them and we are good.

We do also have the Europa league factor! If the scum or Chelsea finish above us and win the Europa we can get in through the back door.

Hopefully it wont come to that.

Pretty certain if we finish outside the top 4 either of them winning the EL would mean nothing to us? It doesn't create a 5th spot...

Brighton haven’t scored for 6 games apparently. If we can’t beat them then we truly don’t deserve top 4.

I’m not picking on you specifically but, god, how many times have I heard people start a sentence like this: “If we can’t beat (insert lower table side here) then we don’t deserve top four”.

Like that’s what decides our league position.

If we don’t beat enough of ANY of the teams in the league to get enough points to reach top four then we probably don’t deserve it. Doesn’t really matter where we gain or lose those points.

It might be that we always beat the likes of Brighton et al. throughout a season but always lose to the top six and not make the top four. Then it comes down to: “Well, if we can’t beat the likes of Liverpool at home then we just don’t deserve top four”.

For the record: if we beat enough teams (no matter who they are) to gain enough points to reach top four then we’ll deserve top four.

You’re gonna go crazy if you keep running the various scenarios out in your head.

It’s simple. If we win our final 4 games, which are winnable, we will finish third.

Just know that arsenal have difficult away games, united’s fixtures are horrendous and chelsea have to play united.

If we win all 4 games and finish 4th, fair fucks to Arsenal.

I think they’ve locked the back door and thrown away the key , as far as we are concerned this season.

This next 7 days is probably what will decide 3rd and 4th. We all make up our game in hand on Chelsea, Utd have 3 very tough games where it looks unlikely they’ll get maximum points. Arsenal have their two toughest away games coming up and Utd and Chelsea face each other.

It could look either very bleak or almost in the bag for us come 6pm next Sunday.

We'll get in through the front door by winning it this season, our aim therefore is to finish in the top four to prevent one of the others qualifying.
