This is not so much a race for the top four but a drunken stumble over the line, if anyone can find it. Still one win from two is good news as we will need to manage players in the four (five) games to come

Yesterday's loss is even more annoying knowing we would've qualified today with a win. I hope Poch can motivate his boys for Saturday. They can qualify with a win and won't have to worry about a thing for the final game. If they can't get themselves amped for that, then we will deserve to end up on the outside looking in. I really really hope they'll get their act together by then and let all of us breath a sigh of relief.
I hope they aren’t even thinking about Saturday. Beat Ajax, that’s all that matters now. Fuck me, we’re in the semifinals of the Champions League.

Can't see United dropping points from here, can't see Chelsea beating Leicester and Arsenal could take six points, but will likely struggle against Burnley. I think all in all this really was the best set of results for us today

How the fuck are we still third??

Don’t want to use that word but we’re all expecting it to come down to the last few minutes of the last game aren’t we?

We have the hardest fixtures. So glad we're in the position we're in.

If we get 4th, that combined with the minimum of a CL semi-final has to go down as a good season. Anything better will be a dream.

We should almost certainly do it from here, but I'm not going to say I have total confidence in it even so. Inconsistent results and performances all season... Recent form not good... CL a huge distraction... A team that looks like it's running on fumes and a manager who is admitting his players are tired... End of season or not, Bournemouth and Everton are surely going to sniff a bit of vulnerability and have a good go at us.

From the next round of games I can see our rivals winning and us, well, maybe not.

It's gonna come down to the last day. Think we should be OK.

You get a much bigger share of the champions league pot if you finish 3rd don’t you?

No you don't. UEFA coefficient is a complicated matter which mainly focuses on the teams success in European competitions over the last 10 years.

1 point from the last 6 would now mean we finish above united, while it would also keep us above Chelsea if Leicester beat them. Leicester away is currently a harder game than United away. Chelsea are pretty poor on the road. Obviously it would be much better to beat Bournemouth and put all this madness to bed..

We need 2 pts. 2 measly points! But we are exhausted and in shockingly poor form. I really dont fancy having to beat Everton on the final day. 2 boring draws would do just fine.

Chelsea have tough games as do arsenal. Utd should theirs but the gap is too big as I really cant see not getting at least a point.

Need to get this wrapped up on Saturday i dread to think what it will be like if we need to win last game against a team we traditionally beat. :nailbiting:

Even a draw v Bournemouth would be a decent result as it would mean a draw v Everton would be enough no matter, lose and we may well need to beat Everton
