So is there anything to warrant us getting our hopes up on this one? All I've seen is the ITK claiming Levy was off to Porto.

I've had my heart set on Radamel since around March but still don't see our chances of signing him in percentage terms over 20%. I read all these ITK's and how we apparently have some kind of representation in Portugal etc but won't believe it until we see it.

I presumed a few weeks back that Atletico would become the front runners for him sooner or later as Aguero's replacement and now the stories are appearing alot and still I find it annoying that they are appearing to be the most likely of any suitors.

Around this time last year I said Dzeko was the man to make the difference for us though and he hasn't been given much of a chance but still hasn't looked that great so far in the EPL so maybe the same would come from Falcao. All the same he's still my most wanted target due to being like Dzeko in that he scores alot of goals from a variety of chances.

I like Falcao a lot, but he has his limits. He is limited in his build up play and isn't incredibly quick. He's a poacher. In saying that he's excellent in the air, has good strength, his movement is top notch and he has that knack of being in the right place at the right time. In summary he is Mark Hughes.

We can still get him, surely we're a more attractive outfit than Atletico?

I guess Falcoa is think that Spanish football is more suited to him. Also I guess the weather is better in Madrid than in London during the football season.

Atletico have cash monies now and will be willing to offer twice the wages we can.

I do think there is a deal to be done for Falcao, we must be about as attractive as At. Madrid at the moment and he was talking previously about learning English so must really fancy a move over here.

If we sign Adebayor we should spend our money on a more versatile forward. One who can actually play with Ade in a 4-4-2 and also as a wide forward for when we play 4-3-3/4-5-1 etc

such as? I see you have Rossi in your sign as such a player, but who else would you suggest? by the way I agree 100% with what you are saying here

Bryan Ruiz is supposedly a versatile player who can play wide and cover for VDV. If we don't sign another striker someone like Marin can play the wide role and we can pair Defoe with Adebayor if VDV is ever injured (or when) with Marin and Bale wide.

Atlético de Madrid have signed Porto's Radamel Falcao. Deal includes Elías' transfer to Porto (via @pepecarpintero).

Atlético will pay Porto €35m + Assunçao for Radamel Falcao (via @DavidMarca) - Elías wouldn't be transfered then.
