If the former employee was the Dr that checked him then the above statement is misleading. He flagged it up but nothing was done. I thought the judgement was that the club was 70% responsible and the Dr/FA were 30% responsible.
Anyway, tragic incident that hopefully will serve as a reminder to all involved that peoples lives are at stake when it comes to medical checks. If there was an abnormality then they should have investigated further and perhaps something could have been done to manage the condition. If not then at least inform the lad and his family of the abnormality and let them make a decision themselves.
I hope the money helps them to have a better quality of life. Happy ending to a sad story. Good luck Radwan.
