Rafael Van Der Vaart is in danger of missing Tottenham's crunch clashes with Arsenal and Manchester United after responding slowly to treatment on a calf injury.
The Dutchman, who has scored nine goals this season, damaged his calf against Wigan on January 31 and has not played since.
He will play no part against Stevenage in the FA Cup on Saturday - and he's in a race against time to be fit for the club's important league programme.
Harry Redknapp's men face bitter north London rivals Arsenal next Sunday before hosting United a week later and van der Vaart is a major doubt for both matches.
He's struggling to be fit for the clash at the Emirates and if he misses out, the best van der Vaart could hope for against United would be a place on the bench.
