VDV heading to FC Midtjylland in the Danish League only demanding 3 million (krones) a year, which is what Rooney earns a week - seems very close according to multiply sources in Denmark. VDV seems to have chosen love over money because his girlfriend play professional handball not far away from FCM.

FCM has also just sold one of the biggest talents in Danish football Pione Sisto to Celta Vigo for massively 50 million (krones) 6m pounds-ish + 20% sell on clause.

One of the biggest transfers ever in Danish football if this deal goes through. Unreal.

Anyways you must wonder how good Rafa is atm and in what condition he's in since he could be earning WAY more in China, etc.

I'd imagine you'd need to be in better condition to compete in Denmark than in China. He'd also be playing Europa league football if I'm not mistaken.

For what he'd bring mentally I'd still love him at Spurs. All our young talented midfielders, and I include Eriksen and Lamela in that, could learn so much from him.

Wait what what happened to that Boulahrouz chick he was dating?

Well from Sabia herself.

- In the last two years I’ve have been verbally assaulted many times. If I had to put it into words, it could be best described as the feeling of someone who has been raped and was left to die on a deserted back-alley.

Moving on

...well, AVB gave him no reason not to verbally assault her. Or something like that.

As for choice of club, living in Denmark as opposed to China would seem pretty swell. No hills, great beer, clean air, Legoland...Actually surprised that not all players spend their twilight years there.

According to Danish media Rafa could be on his way to FC Midtjylland in the Danish league... Sounds a bit far fetched but his girlfriend plays handball in the country so you never know...

Christian Vieri at 43 could on his way to FC Bangkok as his girlfriend plays ping pong .....

What a great man he is. My personal fav as a player and I think he is a standup guy.
Would love to see him take up coaching when he has finished playing. Think he will make a great coach.(y)

I bloody loved him at Spurs, ability and passion for the club, you can't get much better than that. However, for me it is tainted by how he seems to have behaved towards his partners (particularly Sylvie) and I don't have a great deal of time for anyone who behaves that way towards women. I'm conflicted like I once was as a child (ST reference there for the geeks) and for that reason I will always love the time he was there but find it hard to care much for the person he is away from football.
