Our Under-18s suffered only their second defeat of the league campaign against Norwich City on Saturday.

The lads couldn't find a way past Canaries goalkeeper Declan Rudd and a goal in the 37th minute secured the three points for the visitors.

We remain top of Group B of the PAL, three points clear of Leicester and Villa and five clear of Coventry. Those teams can reach a maximum of 60, 57 and 61 points respectively, so we need eight points from our remaining four games to secure the title and a place in the play-offs for the national PAL title.

A rare defeat indeed, but not surpriseing as over half the squad are on loan, is there anybody left to play or are we using the under 16's?

I was lucky enough to speak to Steve Perrymna on friday night. He knows Inglethorpe well from when he was manager at Exeter and I asked what he was like as a coach. Steve could not speak highly of his ability. Told me they still speak once a week and he's loving it there and that he's even more excited about the younger players (under 15's etc) who are coming through as well!

So thanks Levy for appointing Arnesen who appointed Mcdermott who appointed Inglethorpe! ha!

In all seriousness one of FA best jobs he did at the club was to sort out the youth development. Said it could be 5-10 years before we see the benefits and now we are hopefully starting the see the early results and hopefully the next ones will be even better and the next even better!
