6/10 because we haven't kicked on since last season, in fact we've regressed (2nd to 3rd and nowhere near the title). So really it should be 4, but I've added a couple back because we were playing at Wembley. Middle of the road season for me; glad we secured CL again but I expected that to be the bare minimum for a club with the quality of players we have and how we had been knocking on the door of PL title.

I would have been absolutely delighted if we won just one cup along with what we did achieve, would have boosted my rating to at least 9 if we won the FA Cup.
Sorry I don’t agree with this. I see what you mean but I think the competition was a lot stiffer this year and city sucked a lot of the available points off the table. Add to that playing at Wembley all season and Kane’s few injuries as well as others and I think we did slightly better than last season.
The end of the season playing wise was unconvincing and it felt like we stuttered over the line, which really took the gloss off the season!
But let’s face it we still finished above ARSEnal, we Chelsea and Liverpool and came close to Man U. So for me all things considered it’s a very good season and an 8/10 for me.
I do worry we will hold onto players and playing in yet another unfamiliar ground is going to make it tough next year to push on. So another 3rd for me next season Would be great, add a cup and we would have a 9!

A few weeks ago we were discussing who we wanted to win the Chelsea Liverpool game, some of us wanted Liverpool to win because we would then be pretty much guaranteed fourth behind Liverpool and that was enough. Some others wanted Chelsea to win it because we'd get third anyway.
After last nights fun and games in Kiev, weren't they right? isn't this better?:)
I am rating our seaon even higher today that I was yesterday.

Sanchez - proved the need to spend well on established young talent rather than gambling on mid price potential

CRUNCH, CRUNCH, CRUNCH! (could be the start of a shitty advert with those pricks from Soccer Saturday - I'm in a good mood :))
So much talk about crunch games and crunch moments, but these seem to only mean ones we lose.
What was our first competitive win at Wembley this season? Dortmund. CRUNCH! We'd not won there for ages, we had a terrible time there in the CL the previous year. We'd dropped as many league points in our first two home games as the whole of the previous season. CRUNCH! And we smashed them; the voodoo was gone.
CRUNCH! Newport away. An embarrassment on the cards. Ten minutes to go. The knives were out. The articles written. CRUNCH! Kane equalises and then we all got to laugh at Liverpool fucking it against WBA.
Talking of which. Liverpool away. The game of the season. What a game. I'm still recovering from it. We start slowly like usual. And then bang, 1-1 and then a crunch moment we do bottle. Then Salah scores and it looks like we've fucked it. Injury time at Anfield, their fans are up, the game is lost. CRUNCH! Penalty. Kane makes amends and we finish above them by a point. CRUNCH!
Arsenal at home. We're four points above them going into that game. They've signed Mik and Aby and smashed Everton. They're being written up and a chance to close the gap to one point. CRUNCH! We go out and totally play them off the park. They're lucky to get out with a 1-0 defeat. The gap is now 7, we're 4 off second and we've ended their season. CRUNCH!
Juve away. 2 down in ten minutes. CRUNCH. Ok we ultimately go out (a defeat that hurts more than I can remember) but to battle back and put them in their place having not conceded at home for however long it was, was superb.
Chelsea away, the old bastards. 28 years, one down. We all know what's going to happen...but it doesn't. We battle back to win, scoring three. CRUNCH. Lose that and we'd have finished 5th.
Stoke away the next week. Huge to follow up with another win.
Watford, Newcastle and Leicester. CRUNCH! Not great performances but brilliant results.
Kane with 30 league goals, smashing Madrid and Liverpool, finishing 3rd...I'm really proud of the lads. I think we're all knackered after that season but it was so important to go into the new stadium with CL football 8/10
