So out of 10 what would everyone give our season and why?

I am taking into consideration the fact we have played at Wembley all season as well. We've had some wonderful results, which includes the 4-1 hammering of Liverpool, and the game against Real Madrid. Beating the scum is always fun also. I feel we have certainly pushed on another step this season even if we didn't win anything, but next season we need to end this trophy hoodoo which seems to be lingering on for Poch, and then maybe we will start believing that we can go on to do something very special. Overall, my player of the season has to be Jan Vertonghen, followed by Harry Kane who has broken another milestone. Jan has been in beast mode for most of this season, and reminded me a bit of King in his prime with some of the tackles, and football he has played. A very special player!

So overall I am going to give us a healthy 7 out of 10 and hope that we can push on from here and maybe bring in a few additional important signings to take us to that next level where we can challenge for honors.

Would like to hear and read other peoples reviews of our season both positive and negative. Thought I would kick things off!

An excellent season of over achievement. I salute Mr Pochettino. No way I saw 3rd coming.

A shame.about all the Injuries, could have been even better. Still, a 1 legged Kane still scores loads of goals and gets stick.bizarre. I.hope the English red tops give him a break from criticism in the WC.

Very optimistic about the future as well as the now.

9 should of been a 10 but couldn't finish the job against Juve and manure other than that a great season.

I think it was an 8. Playing at Wembley has taken it's toll on our home record from the season before.
More to come for next season, hoping the new stadium doesn't cause a similar problem. Away teams wanting to beat us in our new home and our players getting used to the new surroundings to the pitch.

Finishing 3rd didn't seem like it was going to happen as we were at wembley for the season, so that in itself is a great achievement.

We had a much, much better champions league campaign this year and we didn't look out of place against Europe's best either.

Had another fa cup semi but unfortunately couldn't go one further, need to sort that out.

Overall, very happy with how the season has gone.

8 out of 10 the low points being in control of the juve and Utd games at home only to let it slip away.

8/10. Very good season stand out performance for me was our victory at Stamford Bridge.
Kane scoring 30 league goals and still getting stick even from our own unbelievable.

8.5/10 from me, with the perfect 10 score having a mark off each for the disappointing ways we went out of the CL and the FA Cup after throwing away a leading position, but adding 0.5 marks for finishing above Chelsea and (more importantly) Arsenal.

9 out of 10 for me. Considering we played at Wembley all season, I really thought we would struggle when you look at our record there. Yet we had some really great victories. Excellent CL campaign compared to last year. The major disappointments were losing to west ham in the cc and man u in the semi. Either way I have never seen us finish in the top 3 once let alone 3 times in a row. Well done Poch and team.

Yeah 8 out 10 for me, a great season considering we've had to play at Wembley. And with that in mind, finishing above Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal and behind only the 2 Manchester clubs who have spent a fortune is a fantastic achievement.

I would have taken this if you'd asked me prior to the season.

8 out of 10.

Always got to be room for improvement but if you offered 3rd in the league, an F.A cup semi final and a good performance in the champions league most would take that.

A solid 6/10

Sounds harsh and would be a 9/10 for the last two years but shows how far we have come.
It is a thing to debate but personally my wish for silverware is growing and growing and I fear this great group of Tottenham players will end up without a remakrable success that will make them being remembered for even longer.
So there were a few disappointments this season, leaded by the loss in the FA Cup Semi Final and the CL game vs Juventus and in a way the loss in the CC.

We had an awesome group stage in the UCL and I am proud that I was part of it in Dortmund and Madrid and surely a 3rd place is a great achievement especially finishing above the wanker-trio of Pool, Arse and Chavs.

Well I think it went pretty damn satisfactorily

At certain points in the year I felt dissapointment, at 2 points I felt actual anger - but take a step back, see the wood for the trees and most should agree it’s been pretty fucking decent in the circumstances

Top 3, beat both scum’s & the dippers - CL for our first season in the new place ...

I’ll give it a 5/8

6/10 because we haven't kicked on since last season, in fact we've regressed (2nd to 3rd and nowhere near the title). So really it should be 4, but I've added a couple back because we were playing at Wembley. Middle of the road season for me; glad we secured CL again but I expected that to be the bare minimum for a club with the quality of players we have and how we had been knocking on the door of PL title.

I would have been absolutely delighted if we won just one cup along with what we did achieve, would have boosted my rating to at least 9 if we won the FA Cup.

9 - I didn't see us challenging for the league while playing at Wembley and 3rd was a great achievement. Topping our CL group, especially after the poor display the previous year, was equally impressive. Only mark against us was not winning a cup or going a bit further in the CL.

A little harsh to be honest, made huge progress this year. Proper CL run and topped the group of death, finished top London club, and played 38 away games where we still finished 3rd only behind the two Manchester clubs that have spent 4 times the amount we have.

I gave us a 10, finished 3rd on our resources, won the group of death in the CL, and the only reason we most probably dropped off and are not playing next week in the FA Cup final is due to the injuries and amount of matches we have played this season.

having to play 38 away games, and using voodoo Wembley as our home ground, a ground that was made harder to play at, because 14 of the 20 teams can only dream of getting there a few times in their lifetime
