As I said last week, QPR made us look good and I was slated for it. Our 1st real test and we failed. Need a lot of work.

My MOM Chaldi. He was the only one who was trying to press as we did last, but was left isolated as the others didn't reciprocate.

Liverpool were much the better team. Even when they went down to 2nd gear and cruised 2nd half, we could not touch them. We were lucky it wasn't 6 or 7 nil

I dunno, that probably is a fairly accurate representation. Lloris an innocent bystander who made a couple of smart saves, Rose arguably the best of a very disappointing bunch of outfield players.

Individually they were all bad, they didn't play as a team.

I will go into more detail with constructive criticism but not now, I need to blow shit up in Battlefield.

Lack pace and intelligence. Redknapp called it, capoue is fine playing at own pace but my god he is slow. Someone said he was vieraesque on this site...some fans are deluded! All of don't deserve more than a 5

Kaboul can no longer be first choice that much is obvious, and Bentaleb isn't nearly good enough yet. But Adebayor, Rose and Townsend have to leave. They have to go. If we don't sell them and replace them with actual footballers we'll never be anything other than sixth or seventh. Chadli is the only one who shouldn't hang his head in shame. At least he fucking tried.

So, so disappointing to be shown up so badly today. Allen and especially Henderson were absolutely terrific. They made Capoue and Bentaleb look like absolute amateurs.

Woeful.

- Lloris - Not much he could do about goals perhaps better for third, needs to work on distribution because it's non-league standard at times.

- Dier - lots of application but definitely isn't a RB, went missing at times but not awful.

- Kaboul - is looking finished and needs to be put out of his misery ASAP, cost us big time.

- Verts - how many times did he slide in and get left on his ass by Sterling or Sturridge?

- Rose - Pathetic jogging back for first goal, not the worst of the bunch but back to old form.

- Capoue - nowhere near the standard required today, needed to dominate the midfield but not helped by tactical mismatch of 2v3 in the middle.

- Bentaleb - didn't track runners but some neat interplay, Dembele was the obvious starter over him.

- Eriksen - seemingly can't handle the pressing required of him and lacks any substance.

- Lamela - tried today but nothing came off for him... dribbles into people a lot and needs to be quicker when moving the ball

- Chadli - blew our big chance and should have just slotted it in the empty 3/4 of the goal. Ineffectual.

- Adebayor - Tragic attempts to run clear, always getting caught. Seems to be allergic to being in the penalty box. Remy in please.

Subs:

- Townsend - Please terminate your contract.

- Dembele - should have started

- Davies- Weird sub but hope he becomes a starter in future.

Overall: Static movement up top, just no imagination. Defence was awful and all three of their goals were from direct mistakes. Poch needs to learn how to play the big teams as I feel his tactics left us on the back foot from the start.

I agree. All 3 goals Capoue is guilty of terrible play. Not that the rest of the bunch were much better today. Was desperately disappointed with Lamela's contribution.

Lloris - 5 - Awful kicking today

Rose - 4 - Didn't offer much today.
Verts 6 - Did ok.
Kaboul - 3 - Shocking. Awful passing, awful touches.
Dier - 4 - Stupid penalty to give away no matter if it was a dive or not

Capoue - 4 - Poor passing and just soooo sloooow. Partly to blame for their first.
Bentaleb - 4 - Didn't work for him today.
Eriksen - 3 - Terrible corners again today and offered nothing else in the game.
Lamela - 3 - Lamela of last season.
Chadli - 4 - Offered next to nothing and should've troubled the keeper a whole lot more with his chance.

Adebayor - 3 - Shocking miss.

Subs:
Dembele - 6 - Did alright.
Townsend - 2 - Not much to say about that cameo really.
Davies - NET

I'm not surprised by the result as such, our starting eleven just isn't anywhere near Liverpool's. We might have a big squad but the required quality to compete for a spot amongst the top 4 is not there unfortunately.

Back to reality. Townsend mistake embarrassing. Dem and Pamela ok. Kaboul isn't the same as before he is coming out slower.

We looked, not for the first time, like a bunch of lost players attempting to keep up with an actual professional football side.
