19 year old held his own against fab and matic in a game we lost 3 nil ? Easy to play well when your 2 down after 25 mins. No pressure and they sat off allowing him all the time in the world. Easy to play In those conditions I'm afraid. When the going gets tough however and the likes of Andy king and mahrez and running past you and you can't make a tackle and you go missing and seemingly don't want the ball when again your under the cosh is when I start to worry. Young or not he needs to come out for a few. Burley and Leicester games he's been woeful, what does that tell you ? When it gets a bit physical he doesn't fancy it....

I think Chadli is getting away with murder, Rose is getting hammered but Chadli's work rate in front of him was piss poor, didn't track back very well, or press, stuck a toe into tackles and didn't look like he fancied it at all without the ball.

He has all the attributes to be a top drawer footballer but like so many of our talented players it's the mentality that is missing. All our players are talented and most are really good footballers with a high degree of skill but most lack the mentality to fulfill their potential whether it be the drive or the intelligence or both. It's hugely frustrating but I guess that's why many of them are at Spurs.
This, all day long. He has the kind of physique whereby he should be battering anyone who gets in his way but all he's missing out there is a handbag. So soft.

Even Chadli's ball in to Kane was pretty poor.
Agree, I would give him 4/10 for his performance. I think he should be ashamed of himself, not only because he's built like a brick shithouse but also because he's one of our more experienced players and should be setting an example to all the kids in the side.

He doesn't realise it but he's a potential top drawer player who could take teams apart and work his balls off to stop them playing as well....mentality unfortunately just can't be coached, imagine him with a Gerrard or Keane approach to the game, the bloke would be fantastic....it goes for many of our players, Dem is another one, so is Paul....it's why some of us cut Lamela some slack, yes he fucks up with the ball at times but the kid wants it and is up for it, he works, and although misguided at times the raw materials are there to see him be a top class player....I just hope Poch sees it the same way...
