Lloris - 7 - saved us here and there again but some scary moments. Didn't get the continuing high balls directly to West Hams defense.
Rose - 7 - He could have been aware for the scond goal but got us back into the game and I thought he had a very good game overall. He tried to support our attack and he cleared his side very comfortable without hoofing it out for the 23032884540th throw in and looked for the CM.
Dier - 6 - Lost his man for the first goal was in big trouble at times but I still am more happy to see him over Fazio.
Vertonghen - 6 - Well, okay, not his best but not his worst
Walker - 4 - srsly annoys me more and more. He looks like a real dumb man. Has got 4 moves in him like a Pokemon and couldn't even support our RW 80 minutes long. We desperatley needed width. Hopefully we see Yedlin to make a runout soon to see if he can offer more.
Mason - 5 - He tried and fighted but his contribution was not too good. We should have played Eriksen deeper a bit earlier to help our build up play. West ham havent a no. 10 to worry about. I don't think he is not ready to become a reg starter for us.
Bentaleb - 7 - Really like him. Shame he still has to wait for his first PL goal. Good performance
And now the annoying ones:
Lamela - 5 - very good effort and willingness to pick up the ball at the end of the game but dear oh dear he is NEVER in control of the situation. everythings happens too fast for him and he rarely gets a ball to a teammate in the final third. Such a shame.
Townsend - 4 - contributed nothing, has even less tricks in him than Walker.
Dembele - 4 - Very bad first half, but I would have played him in the second half to play a CM of Bentaleb - Dembele, Eriksen.
Kane - 6 - lucky with his equalizer shouldn't take pens any longer. First bad game for him. Always head down and tried to shot even when there were others in a better position or about 5 West Ham players in front of him. But hey ho no matter how, he delivered at the end....
Eriksen - 5 - a real dip of form. Still one of our better passing players to get things going in the middle but his contribution in the final third was totally meh.
Soldado - 5 - got a good shot away other than that got lost again but was always a difficult game for him. Chadli should have come on earlier.
Chadli - 6 - Didnt do anything of note but it was his substitution when we started to look dangerous.
Poch got a bit wrong today shame. But I hope another late goal helps the team mentality and hopefully we can start going again now. But we won't make Top 4, Arsenal and Liverpool will unfortunately. Finish in the top 6 would be a solid season.

Have to divide it into the first 75 minutes and the last 15 minutes to be honest.
Lamela/Townsend are just incapable of harming any defender with either pace or strength, so West Ham were able to double team Dembele and then Eriksen and put both Tomkins and Reid on Kane. None of Dembele/Eriksen/Kane got a sniff until Poch finally wised up and brought on Chadli. Once Chadli came on there was another attacking threat that West Ham knew could get past a man and their defense became more spaced out and we managed to find two gaps.
For this reason I also found it very strange as to how reserved Walker/Rose were, they are usually farther forwards and we have more success because the fullback guarding Townsend/Lennon/Lamela has a second person to deal with.
THIS IS WHY WE NEEDED KONOPLYANKA (or any decent winger). The wide options are killing us. To get the best out of Kane and Eriksen we need other players to preoccupy the defenders as well.
Ultimately I don't blame the players too much. The system they were put into wasn't ever likely to succeed. I put this one more on Poch. If he wanted 3 points today, he practically gave that away with his starting XI. Fat Sam must have been licking his lips when he saw the lineup. It also took Poch 75 minutes to finally get Chadli on, which was pretty criminal.
I'm not bothering with ratings today. Poch got it wrong. Fans/support wasn't very good, especially when you compare it to say Palace yesterday.

What this game did show me is that there is very little chance of us going to Italy and getting a result then winning the cup. The quality in squad depth just isn't there.

Walker 6 - Sloppy passing at times. Better going forward in the second half
Dier 4 - Looked nervous. Some very poor passing.

Bentaleb 6 - Resonably solid. Likes that he gets forward more. Has a good shot.
Mason 5 - Seemed sluggish
Lamela 6 - Poor first half. Much better on the left. Some good corners and crosses.
Dembele 4 - Poor
Townsend 5 - Inefficient
Kane 5 - Winning the penalty aside he struggled with their marking. Some poor first touches
Eriksen 5 - An upgrade on Dembele but still far from his best

Rose has been constantly good for us. Very good performance today. Their second goal was offside as the offside player attacked the ball. Linesman was wrong or courrupted.
Mason, Dembele and Twonsend should not start again. A new partner for Bentaleb in cm. I hope Yedlin can permanently replace walker soon. We are a very good team if those four are properly replaced.

He looked completely lost and away with the fairies.. Does this guy have a problem motivating himself, because he has all the talent, but just cant apply it consistently, or occasionally.
Lloris- 8 - nothing he could do about either goal in my opinion and made some top class saves at key times
Dier-6 - he played well at times but he was also a liability on more than one occasion
Vertonghen-6 - I hold him responsible for our lack of defensive cohesivity, he should be the leader who marshalls the line but he does not do this and too often do we end up playing guys on side or letting people run inbetween our players to create chances all too easily
Walker-6- had opportunities to make things happen in attack and mostly failed to really do anything, defensively looked a bit suspect and left players over which could have hurt us more than once
Rose- 7 - I was very frustrated by him for their second goal, moaning about a potential offside instead of dealing with the ball and let Sakho sneak in behind him to score, but he actually had a pretty good game all in all and his strike cancelled out his poor play for their second
Bentaleb-7- First half I thought he ran the midfield and was very unlucky not to score forcing Adrian in to a world class save, not as dominant second half
Mason- 5- looked off the boil, his passing was not really on point and he looked frustrated in his own performance, Shame because he was looking ok in the opening stages of the first half but West Ham upped the pressure and he was overran
Lamela-7 - He's so frustrating, he clearly has the talent but he just doesn't seem to be really showing what he is capable off. Too weak and he isn't really producing anything in terms of end product. Credit where it is due though he worked very hard all game and was one of our better performers
Townsend-5 - He didn't really produce anything of any merit and it was probably a mistake to start him
Dembele - 5 - was invisible, real shame because he has looked reborn in the more advanced role recently but today he did next to nothing and was rightfully replaced half way through the match
Kane-7- people seem to be thinking he had a poor game but I thought he again played well and was one of our best players, worked hard and was constantly trying to force things to happen whenever the ball was near him, was unlucky with his shot that hit the post, unlucky to be a fraction offside when he put the ball in the net and unlucky rose's header went over from his perfect through ball and to top off a good all round performance he won and converted the penalty (well you know what I mean) that saved a point
Soldado-6 - he worked hard and forced a good save but he didn't really do enough to justify being brought on and its a shame we don't have a striker we could bring on and get goals to help us win games when we need them from the bench

Wasn't a good performance today, we started well but for large periods of the match it was a bit AVB esq, holding possession without looking dangerous, failing to create decent chances and hoping to score from low percentage long shots while the opponents cut through us too easily from very simple play and we rely on our world class keeper to save us
If we're to stand a chance of beating Florienta, winning the cup final and winning the race for 4th (or any of those) things are going to have to improve sharpish
