1st Half: Arsenal out of the box first with us not getting into our stride. Silly hand ball from Verts who cost us penalty for their goal. We grew into the game equalizing while still not at our fluent best. Think we were fortunate for the second goal as the penalty given was not a penalty in my book. But I will take it any day of the week so thanks Mike Dean

2nd Half: Uncomposed, complacent and basically crap and that includes Poch

Foyth and Davies instead of Toby and Rose against Arsenal, good call Poch, NOT!

Disagree all you want but Arsenal including Emery schooled us and Poch even though it should have been unnecessary

We got what we deserved, no one deserved MOTM.

2nd half Toby was badly needed.

Lloris 6 not great but not really at fault for the 4 goals

Aurier 4 poor, positioning is just terrible and always caught on the counter, thankfully Sissoko is like a 2nd RB so covered for him. KWP must start next game
Foyth 5 not terrible but poor mistake for their 3rd goal.
Verts 6 not his usual solid self, not helped by those around him
Davies 5 offered very little

Dier 6 good aside for big mistake for their 4th
Sissoko 8 Solid comfortable on the ball and great runs MOTM

Alli 7 commanding performance up until 60mins winning fouls
Eriksen 7 good assist
Son 7 good threat in 1st half but anonymous in the 2nd

Kane 7 good hold up play and took pen well

Poch 5 should have changed it at 2-2. Our defence needed help and Toby was sitting on the bench. Madness. If not, Lucas should have been bought on much sooner

Whatever, this result will mean nothing in the end. Defence just had a major off day.

We lost 2-0 last season and still finished comfortably above them.

I'll give Kane 6 for taking a good penalty under pressure and Lloris a 5 for a couple of good saves, but everyone else, including Poch, gets a big fat zero from me.

Everyone was sloppy, laxidasical and lethargic. We deserved to have been thrashed, they were always in control.

Poch deserves special mention here. Yet again, waited far too long to make changes. In this case, two whole goals too late. Left players on the pitch that didn't deserve to be there. Our players needed a massive kick up the arse and whenever the cameras were on him, he just seemed to be buried in the dugout looking lost.

Poch absolutely shit the bed in both starting selection and the complete inability to make the necessary tactical switches to even try and stem the tide, let alone look to be proactive enough to win.

Pathetic performance!

Back 4 was abysmal but that’s all on Poch. Starting Foyth was an awful decision. And he had a game where all the warning signs came to a head. He’s not ready for this level. Wayyyyyy out of his depth. Needs a loan to a lower table side. No coincidence both players on either side of him were awful today. He was so bad it caused Dier to have to cover 3 positions at once. Sissoko reverted back to his usual, useless self. Kane was poor. Awful all around.

Super generous chaps.

I give 0 across the line apart from Dier and Deli that get 1.

Aurier get -1 as does Poch. I was hoping to see less of these blatent errors from him.

A car crash of a game from top to bottom.

A game to forget. Bring on Shampton

Poch needs to stabilise the defense somehow. It's just too much up and down this season. I think however that having a proper solid midfield would probably sort out the defense automatically.

How is anyone giving Harry a 7?

He was anonymous today barring the penalty.

Lloris 6
Aurier 4 Foyth 5 Vertonghen 4 Davies 4
Sissoko 6 Dier 5
Son 7 Eriksen 7 Alli 7
Kane 5

Defense was a fucking joke the entire game.

Poch 3 - zero subs until 4-2, when it was clear as day it was coming.

Shit day.

He fucked it up starting Foyth snd Vertonghen together for the first time in thus game. Foyth wasnt ready and it showed. The warning signs were there with him and well, it all came up at once today.

Agreed, for this game. There have been more games this season where we have survived with a shaky back 4.

Only thought Dele and Son were okay. Everyone else was different levels of poor.
Poch got it completely wrong with one key choice.

Can’t see us ever going there and playing well right now, they are so up for these games in recent years and we just can’t cope with the bombardment mentally.

Only lloris should have a positive rating. Prehaps son in the first half.
Spursy is not making one mistake, but serveal mistakes. Poch, our back four, the attacking in the second half.
We can only have ourselves to be blamed

Emery knew changes were needed at half time to turn around a 2-1 deficit and made them. Those changes directly influenced the result.

Poch, who has moaned non-stop about his players needing a rest, didn’t make a single change until we were 4-2 down.

How can he not see a problem there?

I said it ages ago and i’ll say it again. We’ve seen Pochettino’s ceiling and we won’t achieve much more under him than top 4 finishes.

I understand the sentiment - no question that Poch was out-managed today.

But, I'll still take him, over anyone else, for this squad.

Son was clearly our best player, trying to make something happen, and Dele just behind for showing a bit of fight at least and winning plenty of free kicks.

But overall, this one Poch got wrong with that defense. Toby absolutely should of started.

It was more the Dilly Dally than the Dele Alli show today
