Lamela had a fantastic game first half and scored a great indivdual effort to win the game

Eriksen was excellent second half and really ran the show

Either of those are candidates for the MOTM award

I give my vote to Lloris though because I personally feel thanks to him we held on to our lead - in a game where we had so much possession and a keeper could be forgiven for lapses of concentration of not being at their best when the time comes he stepped up with a string of key match winning saves. He is world class and the best keeper in the league since Schmichael I'm mu opinion

Thought the back five looked a little shaky, Fazio won everything in the air though. 7 for him and a 6 for the other four.

Thought Bentaleb seemed a little lost today and we missed Mason big time. Stambo was pretty anonymous going forward but mopped up well. 6s for Bentaleb and Stambo and a 7.5 for Mason.

Thought the attacking three were all very good today, Eriksen dictated lots and Lamela looked a £30m player. Chadli drifted in and out if the game but, when he's good, he's very good. Lammy gets a 9, Eriksen an 8 and Chadli a 7.

Kane is a better 10 than a 9 but took his goal well and chased and harried. Got a little carried away at times and shot more than he should have. One of his poorer games but he still scores and looks a threat. What a player we have here, 7.

Didn't think Poch had his best day today, Stambo was the wrong sub for me and Townsend should have come on to give us some pace. Got us over the line though and you can definitely see his philosophy coming through. 7

Fans, were in good voice but went missing a bit second half. No surprise though, we've been poor at home and you could feel the nerves. Hopefully we'll settle down a bit after that, the players were feeding off, and feeding, the nerves. 7.5

Kane worked hard and got a goal - but not his best performance by far. Bentaleb was well below par, passing was very poor. Fazio looks great one minute and poor the next. I thought Eriksen was MOTM over the 90 minutes with Lamela's first half performance one of his best 45mins since he joined.

Ings and Kane could be a real handful as a pair... A bit like some of the old-school PL British strikeforces - Shearer and Sir Les, Shearer and Sutton,

Really can't understand why we keep passing back to him. He hoofs it and usually we either lose possession or it goes out. It just puts us under pressure for little reason.

If you are talking about going back to Lloris it is because our ability to play the ball out from the back is woeful. Individual use of the ball is poor and hesitant, and we are absolutely rubbish at opening up passing lanes and creating space and depth of movement.

Back 5:
Lloris -8 kept us in it even though we should've been out of site.
Other 4 all 6's not bad but looked a bit shaky at times

We really missed Mason's energy and drive hope the injury isn't serious, Stambouli and Bentaleb as a pairing is too defensive and invites too much pressure. Bentaleb's worst game for a while.

Front 3: All very good starting to really click.

Kane 7 - Great all-round performance again, worked hard ran at defenders, headers shots good performance.

Potch -8 good team selection and subs. If Mason has stayed fit I think we'd have scored 3/4.

Lloris - Excellent saves, poor kicking
Walker - Yay a right back
Davies - Yay a left back
Fazio - Much better, will get better
Jan - Not his best game but did it when needed
Mason - Doing ok, hopefully not badly injured
Bentaleb - I thought he was poor today. Very negative.
Lamela - Best league peformance...no coincidence Walker is back
Eriksen - Our lynch pin even when in 1st gear
Chadli - Pedestrian but well set up on first goal
Kane - Excellent, MOTM for me. Ran hard all day. Should have had 3.

Strambouli - Much better than Bentaleb. Defensive but looks forward. Should start now
Soldado - Pointless sub
Rose - No time to do anything

Poch - I cannot understand why he didnt change us up in the second half. It was clear Bentaleb was struggling and it wasnt working with Strambouli and caused us to be under a lot of pressure. He took Kane off for Bobby. Made little sense. Demeble should have been on to retain the ball which he is excellent at.

On way back so early thoughts...

Erik played very well as did Eriksen, Nabil and Mason were good first half, Nabil not so good second half. Kane and Chadli decent.

Faz is an edge of the box, game in front of him player, struggles when turned around to face his own goal. Other 3 were decent.

Hugo's kicking was piss poor.

Burnley showed us too much respect first half, second half they got stuck in more and we struggled with it until they got tired. Final ball and decision making were poor at times otherwise we would've scored more. But a deserved 3 points and some good footy at times.

Chadli got an Assist.
Kane and Lamela scored.
Eriksen played 8 key passes, more than any other this season.

Can't really ask for more from our front 4.

The only thing I'd ask for more would be to get more of our shots on target and have converted more in to goals

2 goals today was a poor return for the amount of opportunities we had or could have had with the right delivery/movement and it could have cost us the win had Lloris not made a string of important saves

I agree the attacking players played very well today but we really should have scored more or at least got more efforts to actually test the keeper - we didn't rue the misses today but we easily could have

Lets admit it we should have four or five and they weren't good. If we could shoot straight and a quite a lot lower we would have been out of sight by half time. Made heavy weather of this but deserved the 3 points.

Lloris............7.........Point docked for poor distribution. Always alert.
Walker..........7.........Getting there. Adds another dimension to our game.
Fazio............6+.......Strong in the air. Caught out once or twice.
Vertonghen.,6+.......Now Dawson and Kaboul have gone started bringing the ball out again which one of his strengths.
Davies..........6........Sort of OK ish. Reliable which is what you need in defence
Mason..........6+.......Lively until injured.More energy than Eriksen but does less with the ball.
Bentaleb.......6-.......Lost the ball from the kick off and never quite recovered.
Eriksen.........8.........Love this boy. A proper Tottenham player. Know what I mean. My MOM overall.
Chadli..........,7+......,,Strong on the ball. Good assist and constant threat.
Lamela..........8........At last some reward for his efforts. My generosity born of relief.
Kane.............7.........Should have had more today but I forgive him as we won.

Pochettino....7+ ......Seems to be getting things clearer in his and the players heads. Good week all round.

Agreed although having 22 shots total is far more promising that previously when we had one home game I think we had 3 shots in total!!

Finishing and being more clinical will come, very positive that we created these chances, as we should bloody we doing at home to Burnley!

No question it was an improvement and encouraging to be seen

great to see Lamela have the type of performance we've been waiting to see him produce since the QPR match

I am not missing the positives - just pointing out that we should have done more with the possession and chances we had

It's also probably worth remembering this was against Burnley - not that they should be dismissed, they worked hard and we've not been able to produce against the likes of WBA and SToke already this season so it is good to see us finally produce both a good performance and a win......but still it was "only" Burnley and we need to be seeing this against bigger and better teams

I think it's something that shows we're improving, I think it's something the team can use to build on (not least Lamela) but unless it is backed up with more good performances and results against stronger oppositions it will be just another storm in a tea cup

Everytime Soldado scores I hope it's the goal that brings him the confidence to finally produce the goods consistently

Every time we play well I hope it's the signal that we're going to produce the same week in week out

Now Lamela has scored and played well I hope it's the turning point to his Spurs career and he will evolve into a player worthy of his reputation

But I am still cautious and still appreciate that one good performance and result is no guarantee that we have turned a corner

What I am most pleased about though is that we've now had two good performances back to back and had a run of good results (chelsea aside)

3 wins in a week is massive so I'll take that today. Fazio good. Lamela excellent first half and Kane and chadli ok in patches. Bentaleb too careless in possession especially when that's his strength

Great performance first half, I thought we were poor second half and if they had better finishers they could have caused us problems

Lloris - 7 - Made some decent saves at his near post, we've seen goalies this season beaten from there. He had so much of the ball second half I thought he was an outside player, he dealt with that pretty comfortably but his kicking was atrocious.

Davies - 5 - Average at everything, wasn't bad but wasn't that great either

Vertonghen - 6- Starting to get a decent partnership up and running with Fazio. I thought he was the better of the two today

Fazio - 5 - He struggled a bit with their long ball at times and when the striker was playing off the shoulder too. Both of the shots they had at the near post he gave up on when he could have easily stretched out a leg. He busted a lung to get there they gave up, not overly thrilled with his performance but much prefer him partnering Jan at the back

Walker - 7 - Decent display. Got forward occasionally well and defended well enough, a few aimless long balls but amazingly didn't look off the pace at all considering all the time he has been out

Bentaleb - 5 - Not too many mis-placed passes but went backwards so much, it was almost a triangle of people passing it back and fourth to Lloris in the second half. He shied away from a few 50/50's today which is unlike him, I expect that off someone like Eriksen but not Bentaleb

Mason - 7 - Excellent movement and running today, it was a shame he went off injured. Defenisively he's not the best but I think Ponch knows that. Eriksen was happy playing with him today as he was giving him space and plenty of options to work with. Let's hope it's not a serious injury

Eriksen - 9 - Brilliant at everything he does, he's starting to find last seasons form over the past 4-5 games. Everyone says Lloris is our best player but I disagree. Another great display

Lamela - 8 - Excellent first half, full of closing down, energy and dribbling. A bit less showboating today and far more end product which I liked. Put one on a plate which Kane somehow missed and done a Bale v Southampton. Went off the boil the second half, pretty much like our whole team. My only worry is that he's performing in Europa and has only played blinders against Sunderland, QPR and now Burnley. I'd like to see him get at tougher opposition. Good thing is that Ponch is giving him a nice run of games

Chadli - 6 - Done a few nice runs in the first half and got an assist, but I wasn't that impressed with him today. There were times when Eriksen was looking for a run but it didn't happen. Second half I barely see him

Kane - 6 - Tried hard, worked his socks off, scored a goal, should have had another. Shooting erratic at times, not the best of games but certainly not bad.

Stambouli - 5 - Got closed down quickly from the Burnley players and got dispossessed a few times. Overran it a few times too. He rushed the Burnley players into a few mistakes and made them hit a few aimless long balls so that part was good. Average display for me

I have been wanting a teleport for christmas ~30 years running.
I got the internet, and 3 points today - weeee.

Christmas to most of us, packed program at work for others - 3/3 is a decent start to me.

We'd also relegate them at the same time (if we bought Ings)
