Agree that Wanyama was wank though. Dembele did everything he could but Wanyama contrived to give the ball away again and again.

Also thought Dele was absolutely awful other than a couple moves in the first half.

I might be the only one with this opinion but honestly I was very disappointed with Kane that match.

He had at least 4 clear cut chances in the first half that he made a hash of. So many times it bounced up in front of him but he miss-hit the ball or balled it wide.

In the second half I felt he stopped making any penetrating runs. Almost every time the ball was whipped in he was caught out standing on the edge of the box or something.

He was just so frustrating to watch today.

I admit he was massively at fault for that second goal, pathetic honestly, but to call him overrated just for that is ridiculous. He's an amazing keeper (IMO the best in the league). He's saved us on so many occasions it's ridiculous.

I honestly think we didn't play that well. A few players clearly lacking in fitness and match sharpness. Eriksen playing far too deep, Wanyama totally off the pace and sloppy, Kane unlucky but really needs a goal. Chelsea did what they needed to do and we couldn't break them down. This match highlighted just how important it is that we try and sign an attacking player with real pace, we couldn't get behind them at all.

Chelsea crowded us out in the middle, so we needed to be dynamic down the flanks and we weren't, because we didn't have the players to do it.

This game only highlights what we still need (and I hope we will see) from the transfer window - Pace and width.

Wanyama clearly wasn't ready to start, amazing how he wasn't replaced for WInks.

Alli was poor in possession, this is a big weakness in his game.

Of the two fullbacks, Trippier's one square ball and Davies deflected shot was the only thing of note in the whole game.

It was encouraging the see Dembele attack players in the final third.

We need more speed (only Son is quick) in the final third, a head's up passer in midfield (Winks?) and an unpredictable player.

Pochettino's obsession with power is very annoying.

Sissoko and Janssen was just pointless, one is always uncomfortable on the ball and the other needs chances created for him, even then, there's no assurances he'll score. There was no space for either.
