Danny Rose was incredible when he came on. All those coming back from injury really looked off the pace.

No one really any good in my view. Don't blame them because our squad is so thin.

Danny Rose for being Danny Rose my MoTM

Davies for getting injured and allowing Rose to come on :)

Seriously, thought it was Rose by a long way. He's back to his best and think deserves a new contract reflecting that he is one of the best full backs in the PL.

cruel way to lose

1st half we passed pretty poorly compared to them. Llorente and Lamela just like Saturday weren't on the same page.

better half 2nd half, I expect Llorente was knocked by the way he even attempted a ½ chance.

Rose and Winks played really well. The rest were OK, apart from Lamela and Llorente who didn’t really get into the game

Devastated, but not disheartened. That second half we willed our way back into the game and gave everything to get another/take it to pens. With the injuries, the heart we showed to get a "result" away to a full strength chelsea is something to build on. We desperately need more though.

Gazza - 6 good distribution.
Aurier - 6 mad as a bag of wasps
Davies - 5 made way for Rose
Toby - 7 cooler than an icebox
Verts- 6.5 solid but turned into trouble too often
Winks 7.5 zero help first half. Composed second half
Dier - 5 see name
Sissoko 7. Looked leggy but still love the improvement
Eriksen - 7 first half didn’t do anything. Much better 2nd half
Lamela - 4 I just cannot fathom this guy out. Just not enough class for me. Headless chicken. I just don’t rate him
Llorente -6 because he got the goal. Apart from that nowhere to be seen.

Rose - 8. Mad dog. Great assist. And dependable.
Moura - 5.5 no comment
Sanchez -6 nothing to report.

This really. If we’re being brutal with the squad, I’d cash in on Lamela while he still has value and sell Llorente.

Also, Eriksen is going to need to influence games more often if he thinks he can start for Barca.

Winks, Rose and Sissoko though - impressive. Three names at the start of the season you might have been surprised about.

Young Harry is developing a bit of consistency - just imagine if we had our full squad out with him in form.

Get well soon guys

Rose and possibly Winks for me.

That said, as this thread is less noisy, I think some of the "fans" in the match thread need to fuck off.

Some completely embarrassing comments in there this evening.
We lost. Narrowly. On a penalty lottery. It's not like our injury ravaged team were fucking abysmal, because they weren't.

I'm pleased that we have Poch in charge rather than someone that shares the opinions of some of the pathetic/moronic posters in the match thread. Jesus wept.

I'm sure the Levy/Enic/Poch out brigade will be in full force, but seriously... what good is that diatribe? All that attitude does is give us a stick for other fans, pundits, gutter press and gutter radio shows to beat us with.

I'm a Spurs fan. I'm content. Things are generally awesome at the min.
Yes. We've had a set back, but looking at the bigger picture, we're in a massive state of upheaval at the minute, so I think the club and everyone involved are doing everything to the best of their ability.

Fuck Chelsea, Liverpool, Arse etc. Our time is coming. So long as Poch is here, we're good.

Definitely Rose, I assume Poch is worried about his fitness as really he should be starting miles ahead of Davies every match, at least with Davies injured he should see a run of games (unless he gets injured)

The BBC have Eriksen and Moura ahead of Rose.
