What a fucking game! The edge of my seat is worn smooth!

So called Wembley demon can now be laid to rest

Sissoko will never get a better chance to remedy his unfortunate reputation

Harry Edward Kane my MOTM

Will give a proper assessment once I have calmed down but everyone besides Dembele put in a full shift in my opinion

Brilliant game, absolutely fantastic. Dortmund more than played their part and if their 2-2 goal had stood it could've been another horror story for us, but after 3-1 I was never too worried.

Kane is an absolute über striker and surely nobody at all can still doubt that after tonight. Honourable mentions to Davies and Aurier who were both superb.

Every time I thought Vertonghen deserved it, Davies did something outstanding.

And every time I thought Davies deserved it, Vertonghen did something outstanding.

And the other nine weren't too shabby either.

Vertonghen edges it for me.

Controversial but I'm giving it to Son. His early goal set us up in the right frame of mind and by God this guy works hard for the team and is unselfish. Highly under rated player imo

Kane was exceptional. Aurier was decent and showed real passion. Davies is quickly becoming a serious threat to Rose. He was superb tonight, driving forward and showing real quality passing.
We needed this

He is superb; there's always a sense he could score when he's on the pitch

Not his best game but fought hard especially in the second half.

Hugo, 6 - Good save with his feet, but really not that much to. Terrible passing as usual.

Aurier, 8 - What a game. Thought first half he got caught out of position sometimes and Toby had to cover for him really well. But very good game overall for his first Spurs game.

Toby, 8,5 - Amazing. Think he is the best CB in the world actually. He is so smart and a fantastic defender who can do it all. Really took Pulisic by his balls the whole game.

Sanchez, 7,5 - Wow forgot this guy :D. Had a pretty good game to be fair. Looks already a Spurs player with no transition at all, fantastic. Covered some good runs behind when Lloris wasn't.

Verts, My MOTM 9 - Fantastic game. He was everywhere and I love his forward runs. 0 mistakes what so ever.

Davies, 2nd. MOTM 9 - Another fantastic game by Davies. Outstanding defensivly, and some good runs + crosses offensive. He has shown when he gets +10 games in a row he can be a really good LB. We saw it at Swansea and we saw it when he comes to Spurs.

Dier, 7 - Actually thought he played OK today. Played a bit more with his brain and that suits him.

Dembele, 5 - Shocker. Stinker. Whatever. Poor game, got run over by Dortmund's pace and quickness. Not when Dembele is good.

Eriksen, 7 - First half he had a hard time, and got blamed alot. But Eriksen is not the player when we park the bus. He still ran his lungs out and really stepped up in the 2nd half when he got some more space. And now already the 4. assist.

Son, 7- Very good goal. Had some good runs behind the defense, but just lacked the last bit for me.

Kane, 8,5 - 2 goals, what a finisher and what a player. Fantastic i love that guy. Still needs to keep his head up more and look for his teammates. Overall really good performance.

Still thinking why we "parked the bus" in the 1st half, must be something Poch have said. But we didn't look really good at it.

Kane is MOTM without any doubt, but Davies really impresses me recently.

Okay, and the assistant referee is really shite

Aurier looks a tremendous signing can defend can play a pass to link play has the pace running down the line and finally can deliver great crosses in to the box... great debut!!

For me Toby was MOTM. Defended very good.

Lloris - 7 - quick off his line, one good save
Aurier - 8 - great debut. Fan favourite in the making
Alderweireld - 8.5 - absolutely faultless and pure class. My MOTM
Vertonghen - 8 - great game as well. Shame about the send off
Davinson - 7 - good game, at times felt he wasnt sure what exactly to do, but nothing serious wrong
Davies - 8 - Best LB cover in the world
Dier - 7 - ok
Dembele - 6 - shocking first half, couldn'T handle BVBs midfield
Eriksen - 7 - some genious moments, sometimes a bit anonymous
Son - 7.5 - good game, has to score more than one though
Kane - 8.5 - thank god August is over ;)

My Motm is Kane, solely for his first goal alone, made something out of nothing and then wacked it into the top corner while putting some unbelievable bend on the ball. Add to his display with another goal, an assist and his defensive contribution all game long. Top notch work from Harry all night long.
Special mention to Aurier, Vertonghen and Davies I thought they were fantastic all night. Most importantly nobody was extremely poor and that's why we pulled off such a great result.

Should be ahead of Alli every game. Son-Kane partnership really great too.

Aurier MotM for me, purely because that's an incredible way to make your debut. Pace, energy, creativity, attitude. What a signing!

Could easily have been a number of other players for MotM of course. Stunning team performance in the end.

so proud to support spurs and glad I made the right choice as a kid in the 80s!!

Is this team better than the Rednap, Parker, king and Bale, champions league run team?

It's a better team whether we get to the quarters (or better) or not.

10/10 for Sissoko's impression of Didier Zokora at the end!

Fantastic performance all round, special mentions to:

Jan - imperious.
Ben Davies - exceptional. Certainly our most improved player this season.
son - love him.
Kane - GOAT.
