Hard to think about every player.

Aurier is a fucking demon, a monstrous berserker of a player who will chew his way through the faces of plenty of wingers this season. Beast mode infinity plus one.

Eriksen is ridiculously important to everything we do, and one of the top 5 number 10's in world football.

Kane is 100% world class, there's simply no debate.

So much else to talk about but these three were literally stupidly good tonight. Proper piss takers.

Really hard to pick a MOTM for this one. Kane, Davies and Jan were all outstanding.

Kane - amazing - one of the great Spurs striking performances. Up there with the best.

I love Aurier already. Even little things like he took a couple of fouls late on, and rolled about a bit, slowed everything down. CL nous... Love it.

Pochettino had a great game too. Spot on tactics. He understood that if we pressed high their speed would hurt us a lot. So we sat back, made Sanchez cover PEA and hurt them with counterattacks

Let's hope he carries that lesson over when we play Mini-Dortmund -ie Liverpool. Lol.

Echo the sentiments regarding Toby, Jan, Davies, Son and Kane all immense.

Special mention - Lloris - excellent sweeper keeping.

I thought our midfield trio were outplayed in the first half and a rare off game for Eriksen.

Terrible reffing at the end.

Kane MOM but Davies, Vertonghen and Toby pushed him close.

Though I think he would have thought we were a little too deep 1st half.

Kane today for me, but could have been a number of players. Davies is turning into a brilliant player, Good to get Aurier in there, he will be a fan favourite I am sure. Sanchez too. Great performance from the lads, we have definitely learned from our failures last year. And that was a good defensive performance in the first half as we "sat the bus" good to try these tactics and add them to our teams capabilities.

what a game - i'm so impressed with everything about that performance. Great to see us employing a tactic we dont usually use and playing so very well on the break.

Fully deserved win and a grown up performance from everyone.

There was one stage in the first half when Dortmund were breaking and Aurier had a little pull at the forward who was making a run, not enough to foul him, but just enough to slow him down for a second. When the ball was eventually crossed he was an inch or two away from connecting with the ball and scoring.

Great stuff all round. Dier and Dembele were chasing shadows for 60 minutes but never gave up so I give them credit for that. Fabulous finishing from Kane and Son and superb at the back from Toby Jan and Sanchez (the Beast) and the ever improving Davies. Great save from Hugo as well to keep the nerves calm. After all that, my MOM is Aurier. What a debut that was. Looks a big upgrade on Walker for his ability to use his brain. Absolutely made up about his performance.

It's marginal gains stuff innit. The stuff Atletico, Jose and the Italians have been doing for years. Let's hope it spreads through our squad.
